sadly, the fights are the only reason to attend minor league or alt. hockey league games to the novice fan. there is some real good hockey going on in the minors.

Great pics, looks like it was a good bout. Nice seats too. There is some great hockey in the minor leagues, myself I'd rather watch a minor league game over an NHL game anyday, at least the players still love the game.

Cool pics! Hockey is great, the fights are just gravy. I've seen our local team 5 times already, with several more trips planned.

The light jerseys look like the old Hartford Whalers jerseys. The local Norfolk Admirals used to wear the retro blue and gold Buffalo Sabres jerseys before switching to an original design a few years ago when they jumped from the ECHL to the AHL. Starting this season though they now wear Chicago Blackhawks jerseys (they're the parent club).

the old saying of I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out.
I stopped going to minor league games as they just were 1 fight after another at least where I was going to see them. Junior HOckey is the way to go not minor league hockey |
