Being a lame duck owner/coach in a fantasy football league sucks...
...especially if it's a pay league.
$25 to get into this turd hunt, and as of right now, my QB options for this week are: Jeff Garcia (CLE) - injured last week and may not play this week. they're describing his injury as being similar to the one that's had Chad Pennington sidelined the last few weeks. Josh McCown (ARI) - benched last week for poor performance this year. so unless King self-destructs early in the game, McCown isn't gonna play. so there's that... and being that this is a 16 team league, there's NOBODY out there worth picking up. and even if there was, i don't know that i want to put any more $ into this league given that i'm 4-7 and last in my division. oh, well... :| |
Shaun King didn't exactly light up the Panthers. There might be slim chance on getting McCown in the game.......You're qb options aren't that great. Enjoy being a spoiler for the rest of the year. You have the power to really piss some people off.

well, the good news is that i'm doing much better in all of my other fantasy football leagues this year. i guess i can handle being a spoiler in this league.
|
Griese, Eli or Henson aren't available? I'd take any of those three over McClown.
|
I'm in a twenty team league. My top QB, Hassleback, aien't doing shit. My running back is Duce. My recieve is Randy Moss. Yeah, I'm in more pain than you.

griese isn't available, but eli and hensen might be. still don't know that it's worth shelling out more $, though. better off saving my money for next year, when i might have a chance.
20 teams? yikes. that draft has to be pretty rough by the 3rd or 4th round... |
I can't even begin to grasp a 20-team league. I'm in a 14-teamer and finding guys to fill out my roster is a killer. One injury can just about wreck an entire season.
