College football upsets this week
Just wondering if anyone had a hunch on some upsets this week. I know there will be some this week. Its a big week for upsets. Personally, I think Oklahoma State might pull it off since I haven't seen Oklahoma play as decisivly as they have in seasons past. I also think this might be Georgia's year to beat Florida in Jacksonville. Any other upsets I should be on the lookout for?

You may be right about OU going down in Stillwater this weekend. As an Aggie, I hope they win and come into College Station undefeated so we can knock them off for the first time, but the Cowboys can be very tough at home. We just got on top of them early and they didn't quite know how to respond playing from behind. Vernand Morency is a stud RB and OU will have a hard time stopping him.

The entire Auburn Nation is pulling for OU to get beat by OSU. Of course, if that happens (and assuming Auburn beats Ole Miss), they'll probably just leap-frog Florida State ahead of us in the BCS.

Maryland over FSU.
You heard it here first. And most likely last.

OSU has a good squad... but methinks OU will win with confidence this week. It's the only game that features two top 20 opponents this week, hopefully this great state will get some attention. I think USC will probably win out as their remaining opponents resemble a row of neatly arranged tomato cans. The Sooners have to face 2 more ranked opponents in the regular season in addition to the Big 12 Championship game. It's gonna be rough.
I predict the top 5 teams will win this weekend with the next big upset being Georgia over Auburn in two weeks.

Thats funny. I hate SC as much as anyone, as a Cal fan, but if you can tell me of another team that beat 3 ranked teams this year I'd appreciate it.
Their SOS is in the top 6 in the country according to Sagarin's SOS rankings. They are decent. And who is better? Ok, Cal wins the rematch if OU and Auburn lose. |

OU will play their third ranked team tomorrow... we'll see how that turns out.
i want to say one more of their opponents was ranked when they played them but has since dropped off... not certain of it though.
