How 'bout those Mariners!

So, what happened?!?

They were supoosed to have made some great changes in the spring and come up north with a contender.

What really causes an entire teams batting average to go completely under and the pitching to think their doing batting practice?

Is it Melvin's managerial skills?

You'd think with the veterans we have on the team that the manager wouldn't be that much of a factor.

I've been a fan since '77 and I'm having some real bad flashbacks!

Well, maybe they were alluding to travelling with the Angels on a charter flight out of Florida. Sorry, bad joke.

The Mariners just seem to have gotten extremely old over night. I suppose keeping E-Mart and Olerud in the everyday line-up is not going to help anyone. Plus, Boone hasn't been that great. I'm actually shocked that Melvin is still there.

Man I love the Larry Pic.

Miguel Olivio was a good pick up. When are those young arms going to come??

The 2004 Mariners offense is a tribute to the deadball era. That series against Montreal was pretty funny.

The "veterans" the Mariners have should have played in the Old Timers game.
