No Triple Crown - Again
I love horse racing and the past few years horses have come close only to lose the Belmont. And yet again this year. Hell of a race though.

There were only 3 horses in that race it seemed.. I don't follow horse racing much, but what's the deal with the horses that were way back?
Did they seriously think they had a shot, or were they just in it for name recognition?

I watched that in beautiful HD.
It was an exciting race. I consider myself detached from the sport, but I'm able to appreciate a possible milestone. He was in command, but birdstone just came out of nowhere and stole it.

I'm the type to watch races on TV and yell at the TV.
I was sitting here when they were coming around the bend "Let him out! GO!!!" Then when I saw Birdstone coming on it was "Oh no! Noooo... come on Noooo" Well, theres always next year. Thats the beauty of horse racing... New crop of horses next year.

If I were the owners of Birdstone, I wouldn't take him within 50 miles of Philly ever again, on risk of having him stolen and sold to Elmer's.

i'm not much into horse racing either, but i ALWAYS watch the triple crown. there's a feeling i get while watching the race that i can't explain. it's so exhilirating. to say that i was disappointed with the result of today's race would be a mega understatement. i mean, it's only a horse race, so why do i feel so depressed all of a sudden?

Off to the glue factory for Smarty so little kids can make stuff and eat him.

Yeah, it doesn't much seem to me that their will EVER be another Triple Crown winner. I mean , of course their will eventually, but damn I'm sick of all this teasing.
