Play the Tilted Forum Sports Contest 05/08/2003 UPDATED
OK! Round one of the tilted forum sports contest.
Your picks MUST be in before tip of the first NBA game (fridays). At tip, I will copy down entries so noone can come in late. Please pick all events in one reply to this message so that I don't have to piece together different items. Everything below should be pretty straightforward, except maybe the CART race. Pick one driver to win. Don't forget about the tiebreak! This took a bit of work on my part, but I'd like to see if it works. If the response is good, I will be happy to continue it. Don't feel embarrassed or anything, go ahead and pick, I picked events where anyone can win, and sports knowledge is pretty useless. Bragging rights are the sole prize, and the winner will be crowned in this space before the next contest. Good Luck! And to the scorecards.... after going to the tiebreak.... Smarm prevails! Over myself. Both with seven correct selections. Congrats to Smarm! Honorable mentions to jmf1234 and duhgravy. Next contest will be when I feel there is some good matchups and I have the time! I was happy with the amount of entries. Check back and play again! All hail Smarm.
