I would love to see your prediction come true, but the only way the Lakers are seeing a Game 7 is if they order the Heat/Hornets DVD.
LA has proven that great talent doesn't always come together like a great team. They still have a shot at proving what they're made of, but I think we've seen the last of this group completely together.

more like Spurs in four or six at the most. San Antonio might lose a game on their atrocious free throw shooting alone, but they actually play as a team and have been able to overcome that so far.

i would not totally count out the lakers yet. i remember back early in the season when all four stars played and there was not any drama yet. they just looked about as solid and as good as a team could get. they definitely can turn this series around.whether or not they do is a whole different story. but hey, GO LAKERS.

I love this. I've been a Spurs fan for so many years, and I'm so glad their owning the Lakers (finally). Spurs in 5, even though I'm tempted to say 4. L.A is a tough place to play, but I hate the Lakers so much I wouldn't take them to win a series against Phoenix. I'm glad the Spurs aren't first round losers anymore, like in the early-mid 90's.
If only the Cowboys could find a way to win a championship again...

Notes:
-"The Glove" is getting embarrased by Tony Parker who is playing out of his mind... isn't his stat line 25 ppg 9 apg 4 rpg? -Karl Malone is lame, sure he is one of the best of all time, but he is lame. -Kobe is going to loose the series for them at this rate. Bowen is doing a good job of D'ing Kobe, 17 of 43 in two games is hurting the lakers. Not to mention Kobe acts like a pissy brat and stops shooting after people get down on him. -Tim Duncan is the best player on the planet. -Shaq needs to get the ball, Shaq and Kobe should be the only two people touching the ball down court, and as stated earlier Kobe is struggling even if he is getting his. If the Spurs take one game in LA the series is over, if not they will still pull it out.

The Lakers had their chances to win both games in San Antonio, but the Spurs turned it on at critical points in the fourth quarter of both games and pulled them out. If, like last year, the Lakers can take Games 3 and 4, this will be a whole different series. Remember that if Robert Horry's three in Game 5 last year falls instead of rimming out, the Lakers probably win that series in 6. I sense a simliar situation this year, the Lakers are too talented to get swept and hopefully Horry misses a three in Game 5 this year too

they do have at least a decent glimmer of hope after winning game 3 but if they lose game 4 then a long summer beckons for them rapidly.

Well, I always loved the Spurs until the Grizzlies came to town, but they remain my second-favorite team. So hell yeah, go Spurs! Plus I hate the Lakers more than you can imagine.

If (i'm tempted to say "when") the Lakers win tonight and if they win the same way they did on Sunday, they'll have a good chance of taking this series. They should try to put some doubt in the minds of the Spurs by blowing them out again. In the case of the younger players like Parker & Ginobili, they can still be susceptible of feeling the pressure a bit even though they won it all last year. But then again, if the Lakers win by 1, I'll take that too.

Game 3 was amazing for the Lakers, but they did the same thing last year. Down 0-2, Kobe exploded in a victory. Spurs still won the series.
Kobe will probably come out gunning today. He'll get his points at the expense of the team flow. If he starts playing one-on-one instead of using his teammates, it could be a long night. My other prediction. Luke Walton will play 3 minutes.

interesting ending to the series; (un?)fortunately I stopped actually caring before the playoffs even started this year. No one is left in the playoffs (aside from the Pacers possibly) now that even remotely interest me.
