My prediction for this series is Sharks in 5-6 with at least 3 games going to OT! But Nabakov will beat out Kipprusoff just like he did for Sharks. Besides that its awfully hard to shut down 4 lines. Their scoring comes from everywhere.

Looks like Chris Simon might be back on the ice for the Flames tomorrow, which is great news. If he can go, i think he'll make a huge difference in the game.
I can't wait for this series to start. You can go on and on about the storylines behind the game, but when it comes down to it, you've just got 2 great teams playing hockey the way it ought to be played.

Yup yup, great win last night. They were under attack for the end of the game but Kipper stood strong and kept them in it. They weathered the storm and Iggy set up a great goal for Monty! Good to see him pot his first playoff goal.

I'm finding it hard to cheer for the flames after the oilers are out...even though they're the only canucks left in it. Their first chance in the playoffs in 7 years and the conference finals... Edmonton goes out always in 1st or 2nd round. It's luck, right? Calgary doesn't have a better team than us??

Calgary was all over those Sharks tonight. Kipper was incredible yet again. I'm eating it up. Donovon with a great breakaway goal, Iggy and Neiminen with great goals. Just awsome to take the series back to Calgary with a 2-0 lead!!

Wow, is all I can say. They won in a convincing fashion. I am impressed. Well they did beat the Cancucks....So they must be good.(I had to throw in one last Canucks mention) I hope that they don't let the 2-0 lead get to there head, because the sharks are going to come out flying. I think the flames can do it though. They have heart.

The Flames played a very awesome and powerful game tonight. Lets hope they can bring it and beat San Jose in 6.

Hopefully the Flames can break the home ice curse and finish the Sharks off in Game 6. I don't think I can stomach a Game 7.
Iginla and Kipper both looked great in Game 5 and that's a great sign. If they continue to produce, the Flames will be tough to beat.

I think that no matter what Calgary will win the series. If they lose tonight, they will come back HELLA strong in SJ. And if they win tonight..well we all know.

Yesterday they released 2000 tickets for sale via ticketmaster online. I was away from the computer so I couldn't get any. But being a flames insider, I have a code for tickets that aren't used up for whatever reason and get released periodicaly before a game.

A random check at ticketmaster this morning netted me 2 tickets to the game tonight.

17th after the game was just ridiculous. I've never been in a crowd that tight before. It was packed! I'm told that it's a lot like Mardi Gras but I've never been there to compare. I could only take so much then I pulled the shoot and swam for the sidelines. Much nicer on the outskirts of the crowd. No trouble there either which says a lot about our fans. :thumbsup:

I am not a big Flames fan but as and a Canadan living in Montreal a big hockey fan, the only logical case here is to support the Flames t'il the end. Small market, canadian city and former cup champ, there is a hockey history in there like everywhere in Canada (No, not in Tampa, sorry bolt fans).

I wished for a Flyers / Flames finale for the beauty of it and have a real meaning to the game. now that Calgary is in, I just hope the Flyers can rebound and clinch the next 2 game.

It's been a long time since a team I supported did as well as the Flames are. In fact, the last time a pro team I supported won any title was in '89 when the Flames won the Cup. And hey, 15 is my lucky number. ;)
