Hey, I was just gonna post this.
Do we have a TFP bracket contest started already? If not, maybe someone could start one up on Yahoo or something.

I might run out of bandwidth for the pic, so I would be grateful if any other hosts could either type it up, or host the pic as well.

St. Joes was given a gift. They should easily make the Sweet 16, but after that I'm just not sure.

Duke and Zona in the second round... WTF? That's gonna be a great game, but it shouldn't happen that soon.

Yeah, I take back my statement about St. Joes not making the sweet 16, on account of their super good bracket placement.

Maryland's probable route: UTEP, Syracuse, Stanford, NC State/UConn.

Final Four-bound for a grudge-match rematch with the Dookies.

Oklahoma State was screwed out of a 1 seed. The committee didn't even consider the late games on Sunday. Go Pokes!

Pitt got screwed. They are deff a two seed.

This year is going to be an amazing year. Look at all the possible outstanding games!:

and those are just second round? I mean, there's going to be upsets ALL OVER the place this year. Anybody who picks the brackets right on anything other than sheer luck is psychic. I have my picks for the final four, but I've never been so uncertain in my life.

Here are my bold predictions for the tourney:

Pitt will win it all

Northern Iowa will beat Georgia Tech

Duke will lose to Arizona

Western Michigan to the final four... just kidding... I think that Duke and UNC will both do well however... My Pick is UCONN

Agreed. Arizona got screwed with a 9 seed - does the NCAA really think there are 32 teams out there better? They were never out of the AP top 25 all year - and deserved, at worst, a 6 seed.
This isn't their year, though (Of course, '97 wasn't supposed to be, either). Too little experience and lack of depth. They're starting a freshman, two sophomores and two juniors. But watch out next year. Go Cats!!

Off I go to the NCAA first round. Floor seats in KC. Look for the guy in the tan O State hat playing the baritone. Oh yeah. OSU takes the first step on a little 6 game winning streak.
