LSU - Sugar Bowl champs
 

LSU proved it's deserving of 1/2 of the national title...and proved that Oklahoma had definite flaws.

Does anyone have any issues with this being a split national championship? The AP poll will come out in a few hours and will no doubt have USC #1. LSU will be #1 in the coaches poll. Given the circumstances, the split titles will be the best outcome.

Now if only USC and LSU could play next week????

I'm still holding out hope that the coaches go against their "contract" and vote for USC. But LSU is deserving too, and I would not mind having it split.
