Call For Votes - CFB Top 20 11/15/03

Polls close Tuesday at 11 pm EST.

RoadRage 11-16-2003 11:59 PM

The computer is voting again for me:

1 Oklahoma
2 Southern California
3 Texas
4 Ohio State
5 Miami OH
6 Washington St
7 Michigan
8 Florida St
9 Louisiana St
10 Georgia
11 Texas Christian
12 Miami FL
13 Tennessee
14 Purdue
15 Kansas St
16 Nebraska
17 Iowa
18 Virginia Tech
19 Mississippi
20 Utah

The computer has #5-#10 so bunched up that any small movement in rating produces big movement in ranking. Georgia is 2.73 points behind Miami OH but 4.11 points ahead of Texas Christian.

Artermis 11-17-2003 12:39 PM

We do not live in the matrix world and so your computer does not have an imagination. So therefore I do not suck ass.

My main complaint is how Texas can be #3 with two losses. I realize that they lost to OU but OSU has a tougher schedule and only 1 loss. Miami of Ohio above LSU each with one loss.

Do me a favor and redo your formula because the one you are using now is not very good..:)

BTW You got texas at #3 and they lost to an average Arkansas team..:)

1. OU - They had an off week and didn't look good at all but their still better than whoever comes next.

2. USC - Arizona wasn't the toughest of competetion but USC did its thing.

3. LSU - I think they probably deserve to be #2 but we'll see next week after they play Mississippi.

4. Michigan - I think they can cruise the rest of the season.

5. Georgia - they looked good against Auburn

6. TCU - like 'em or hate 'em - they deserve to be here - at least for the present.

7.8.9. There's not 2 cents worth of difference between Ohio State, Texas, and Washington State. Ohio State pulled another one out of there ass, Texas simply outlasted Tech - neither one of them are anything special and Washington State is past the strength of their schedule.

For the record I guess leave them in that order:

7. Ohio State - out of the top 10 next week

8. Texas - nothing really left in their way - they lost one they should have won.

9. Washington State

10. Florida State - could have a real problem with Florida this week.

11. Oklahoma State - They can beat 3/4ths of those ahead of them - they just got Big 12 bit.

12. Tennessee

13. Florida - could move up next week.

13. Mississippi

14. Virginia Tech

15. Kansas State - They beat the uglies from Nebraska at Lincoln - that's enough to get a little respect.

16. Miami

17. Miami (Ohio)

18. Boise State

19. Purdue

20. Iowa
