I find it funny that...
Texas fans are all over Mack Brown and stuff, but Virginia Tech fans support Frank Beamer with a passion, even though they are 1-11 against teams in the Top 10. That might be because that Texas has a tradition of doing good or whatever, but I don't think I remember Frank Beamer losing support...

Well Texas has traditionally been a football powerhouse and they want to get back to that elite status again. The folks in Blacksburg are just happy that Beamer has made the program a consistent winner.

well, we expect perfection from our players and coaches.
We have the largest athletic budget in the nation, one of the highest paid coaching staffs in the nation, and always have a top athletic class coming in. So, of course we demand excellence. Sad part about Brown is that he has no conf championships or bcs wins. This guy has been here for a while, so we want to get to a bcs game.
