i used to use CBS SportsLine All The Time sports alert but it has since shit the toast...
after doing some digging i found what i think is by far the best sports ticker... ENJOY!!!

hmm. The Mac version is just a popup browser window. I'd prefer an actual app I could keep running and easily reference personally. *gets an idea...*

Hmm, is there a way to make it show scores only ?

When I'm tracking the progress of several football games at once, I really couldn't care less why some "sports writer" thinks that Bulger is good (as far as I'm concerned you don't need to be told he is good, just look at his games or his numbers).

Other than that its pretty neat

Click the button that looks like a circle around a dot in the middle of the bar along the top. Then select which sports and then uncheck the option for news for the NFL.
