Well I'm in 2 fantasy leagues and they work like this..

you draft your roster
every day, you align your roster to play your players at their positions if they have games
at the end of the day, the stats for each player are totaled for the team
your stats are then matched against your opponent's stats and you get points for wins.

That's a real cheap summary. It's fun though.

You draft players from all teams, makes you root for a team you normally wouldn't wouldn't! I've been doing yahoo and espn for years now, I quite enjoy it, and have one a couple of them.

yeah and their should be rules and regulations posted on any site you go to describing all the rules and scoring and good stuff like that because different fantasy leagues and sites score differently and draft differently so pick one out and read about it and see if it's right for you!!

okay, so its like your own personal fantasy draft...

who else is considered "in your draft"? surely not everyone on the internet pulls from the same pool of players. are participants placed into leagues (ie. a whole bunch of fantasy leagues consisting of 30 or so participants, or something like that)??

Yea, most of the time it is 12 teams to a league but that can vary depending on site and league set-up. I started a few years ago and got hooked.

Trying basketball for the first time this year.
