Biggest Fantasy Football Bust so far!
Hey just wanted to get your guys ideas on the biggest fantasy football bust this season.
Who has hurt your draft day the most so far, not counting injuries. We all know Faulk, Vick etc. has hurt alot of teams. But who did you draft that has been playing, that is costing you some wins. I know Peerless Price has really disappointed me this season! |

Tommy Maddox. I thought he was the perfect late round pickup with all the talent at wide-out around him, how could you lose? I was wrong.
Jerry Porter. I know you asked to disregard injuries, but I gotta bitch about this guy. Not only is he wasting valuable roster space, I'm not sure if he's worth starting when he gets back given the sorry state of the Raiders. Martin Gramatica. The Bucs offense just isn't getting it done - and Gramatica isn't geting the chances. I put him up on the waiver wire for Aaron Elling. |

Donovan Freakin McNabb. I would trade him for a pair of socks if I could get any takers. Fortunately I was able to pick up Matt Hasslebeck so i am pretty decent at QB.

Jeff Garcia & TO.
I picked 'em in 1st and 2nd rounds in one of my leagues thinkin they'd be explosive, but TO just hasnt come through. garcia is doing pretty good with his throwin and running abililties, but TO.........

I don't personally have him, but I also think Boston has been a real let down this year. I have always thought of him as a Randy Moss without the attitude, now he is just a not so good Randy Moss with all the attitude! Hopefully he can get his head out of his ass and become the player he could be.

wow no one has mentioned Ladanian Tomlinson
what has he done lately? 9th best in the league in rushing yardage but only 2 TD's this guy I thought had more upside than any other RB in the NFL this year, an improved fullback, a top notch wr so teams couldnt stack the box and I would have epxected a little bit more than his current stats, although he is avg just over 5 yards a carry

Peerless Price has sucked ass so far, I traded him for Tai Streets just in time for the sob to post one good week with 20 some points. Daunte Culpepper hurt me some too being injured a couple of weeks but I had Ramsey for a backup so it worked out ok.

on my fantasy team I would have to go with tomlinson or henry... I picked tomlinson with the #2 pick in the league and they are down so much that they throw the ball a lot. Henry is kinda inconsistent as well, and I hope McGahee doesn't steal his job in the next month. Overall though, I don't think I either of them is too big of a bust. A real bust would be Kurt Warner...

The biggest bust IMO (mostly because they were on my team) are Dillon and Duce Staley. Dillon is lucky to get a touchdown, which is the extent of his points, and Duce has just been sucking it up.

Mine were Jerry Rice and Tim Brown. I know it was a bad idea to pick up these two fossils but I did it anyway hoping for the Raiders to return to thier form from last year. But alas they are showing thier age. It hasnt hurt too bad because my work horses Ahman Green and Ladanian Tomlinson have picked up the slack.

McNabb has never been a dominating Fantasy Football guy. The only reason he's a good quarterback is because he can come up with the really big play when he absolutely needs to. Other than that, it's pretty iffy.

This was my first year doing fantasy football, Didn't know the game and drafted McNabb first. I learned real quick how stupid I was and how much I screwed myself by not getting a top tier pair of RB's first, then WR's.
QB's are amorphous and there are always good qb's sitting around unpicked any given week. I'm coming back up now though after some heavy trading and add/drops. I picked up Westbrook and D Davis early. I'm hoping they continue to perform enough to get me a couple wins. And got Bennett, just waiting on him to get dominant RB status again I have only 3 of my original draft picks left, Pat Ramsey, Hines Ward, David Boston and now I just reacquired Bennett. A complete change. Almost nothing I started with worked out. Last edited by Superbelt; 10-24-2003 at 06:39 AM.. |
