What a weekend in College Football
Six previous unbeatens are unbeaten no more. Now the National Championship race is pretty damn clear:
Controls own destiny: Oklahoma*, Miami-FL*, Virginia Tech* Need help (eliminated on next loss): Northern Illinois*, TCU*, Georgia, Florida State, Iowa, Minnesota, Washington State, Nebraska, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Purdue, Ohio State, Arkansas, Texas Tech, Louisiana State, Oregon State, Southern California, Missouri, Oklahoma State Kiss goodbye: Texas, Tennessee Crawled back in: Texas Tech, Missouri, Oklahoma State Computer Rankings (version fc1 and assuming the Fresno State-Hawaii game has little effect): Code:

I would like to see an OU/Miami Natl. Championship, I think that would be one hell of a game.

OU WILL WIN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. NO QUESTION AT ALL. i say hand 'em the national championship right now.
as for texas tech and okie state, no way. why? 1) texas will beat both of them 2) one more team will beat both of them. |
I think the 'Canes will win it again. But they will face the Sooners. The Gophers are going to win the big 10, Seminoles for the ACC (last time i think i'll say that), LSU will win the SEC and the Trojans will win the Pac 10.

The way OU is playing, in all phases of the game, i really have a hard time see'n anybody beatin them this year. they are coming into stride right at the meat of the season, and with the Stoops brothers keeping them mentaly ready for the game each week, this team is the best in the nation this year.

hey, don't forget that Miami also has a Stoops brother (Mark) on their staff. Miami-OU would make for some good story lines. battle of unbeatens... Stoops vs. Stoops...
