1)Giguere gets punked in Dallas
2)Fedorov gets shut out
3)Hasek is back and wins
4)Yzerman scores the game winner

2)Fedorov is Fedorov, give him the time.
3)Hasek is back and wins.... Well, it's not Joseph in net so yes, they will keep winning.
4)Yzerman soon on a disable list near you!

Guigere is going to pull a Theodore, Federov will be nowhere near as good without the amazing talent he had surrounding him in Detroit, I refuse to jinks Det. by jumping on the Hasek bandwagon just yet, and if anyone deserves to have an awesome year it is Yzerman.

Yep, the league is in trouble. But the greedy ones are the owners and the union management. The union harasses any player who doesn't try to push the pay scale envelope while a few rich teams hoard talent. (Yes, the Wings have been guilty of this, too)

But, this is a new season with lots of stories to tell. June is a long way off, and the Zambonie's exhaust is sweet in our nostrils. Enjoy!

Then again check out all of the European players, most of their contracts end this year, so they can play in Europe...maybe I'll just start watching that after the lock-out.

Sabres get shut out twice in a row.

Hmmmm, wonder if Bledsoe and Moulds know how to ice skate?

Rangers were up 3-1, then ended up losing 5-3 in Minnesota. The next night in Columbus they get blanked 5-0.

All is normal with the hockey world.
