Any one here a Mtn Biker??

I'm new here and I'm really into Mtn Biking... just checking to see if anyone else here rides??

I've been into biking since 1985 and started on the road... but now I'm all about the dirt - still have a road bike - but it's mainly for training only.

My current set up - is a 2003 Santa Cruz Heckler and a 2003 Spicer Ti EBB Singlespeed.

I'm from Ohio - so I travel a lot to go find good trails.

How about you?

It's a ton of fun! Makes me wonder how I road biked for so many years... that yellow line on the road looks the same no matter wher you go. Where as mtn biking has ome of the best scenery especially in the fall!

Glad to hear other bikers are here too!

i went to sun valley, idaho for a wedding one summer. i was bummed 'cause i thought, "what a waste. coming all the way to sun valley & not being able to ski!"

someone took me mtn biking, though, and it was a blast. great trails that took about 2hrs to go up & 10 minutes to come down.....like a natural roller coaster!

I bought my house in this area because of the endless singletrack that is 4 blocks from here. I have been riding cross country since 1994.
Setup:
1994 Cadex ALM1 frame
1995 Manitou Mach 5 SX fork
XT v brakes
XT crank and rinks
Sachs twist shifters
Mavic 517/XT wheelset
Gore- ride-on cables
