The Draft Sucks

it does.

I watched most of it until hockey came on. During some breaks in the hockey game i would turn it back and just see what happened, I turned on while they were on pick 31 by the raiders, and they said that they were 5 hours into it!

WHAT MAKES THIS THING SO COOL?!!! it is just dumb, i think it just ended, but fuck the draft.

Just the first day ended.

And it's like all things in sports, some people like it, some don't. Like golf for instance, alot of people like to hear how Tiger does, but how many of those people can actually sit down and watch golf for 5-8 hours?

That's what we got newspapers for, the people that don't like it can just look at the papers and read about how stupid the Vikings are come draft day.

Just as they were about to enjoy their creamy beverage, three flies landed in each of their pints. The Englishman pushed his beer away in disgust. The Scotsman fished the fly out of his beer and continued drinking it, as if nothing had happened. The Irishman, too, picked the fly out of his drink but then held it out over the beer and yelled "SPIT IT OUT, SPIT IT OUT, YOU BASTARD!"

I thought ESPN's coverage sucked this year. And what was with the crawl at the bottom of the screen. There was too much info and it kept changing too fast. It was confusing.

The draft just appeals to hardcore NFL fans... you sit there waiting to see who your team picks, who the teams in your division pick, et cetera.
I have just been checking ESPN.com every few hours to see what's going on, that's as into it as I'm going to get.

That would be me. I watch from the first pick to Mr. Irrelevant. I love watching the draft. And RAMONES, if you don't like the draft, you don't have to watch it.

I watched on and off, missed most of the Minnesota Debacle, but got updates on it everytime I flipped it on.

How could anyone possibly endure the NFL draft. They need some way to spice it up, maybe cheerleaders in between picks

I listented to it while at work, and then came home to watch it on ESPN.

I went back to listening to the radio. I was very unimpressed by ESPN TV's handling of it.

They had way too much information on the screen, yet they failed to keep the last pick in the draft on the screen.. Yet to me that is far more important that the other garbage that was flying, scrolling, and frolicking across the screen.

Listening/watching the draft is great. It is really exciting and allows me to get hyped for football season a little early.

Eh, I don't watch it either... but then again, I'm not really a football fan. All I do know is I'm pretty amused that St. Louis (which is where my home is) got a convicted felon for their second pick... gotta love those NFL role models!

I only check in on it when my team is picking, thanks to nfl.com
I can't believe we picked Willis McGahee! I liked him in college, question his recoup. Travis Henry has to be pissed off, and we just picked up Olandis Gary. I think we could have used more help on defense. Oh well, maybe he'll be good trade bait in a year or two!

I don't watch it all but do check in occasionally - I really do not give a rip who is taken by some teams but do care a lot about who my team takes cause damn it! They need some real help in several areas - I do check to see where players from my favorite college team go.

Being a Cowboy fan, plum down to the bone, I cannot wait for the new owners draft - that one I will watch from the very beginning - We'll trade you Jones for a future draft choice as low as 23rd in the 4th round,
