Yankees lose opener

Awwwww I feel so bad for them. I personally hope they get swept in 3. I doubt that will happen, but I can always hope!

the Yanks didn't do that much wrong, but Sierra and Johnson need to get the clutch hits in the 9th if they're going to win. Boone did OK and Bernie came through as he always does, but the Yanks didn't hit nearly enough once Santana was out of the game.

I don't care who wins the World Series, as long as it isn't the Yankees I'll be happy.

They pretty much played themselves out of that game. Bernie let a ball go by him in the outfield. Soriano threw the ball away on the play to third. Boone missed the tag on a play at third. Matsui misplayed a ball in left.

They dont need clutch hits in the 9th. They need to play a solid game in the field and stop stranding runners.
