I wish I could've seen this. Hopefully Ortiz walks away with some lasting humility. I know hindsight is 20/20 but I'm still a little surprised the oddsmakers had Couture as the underdog. After all, he did soundly beat Chuck Liddell, whom Ortiz has conveniently avoided his entire career. I think Ortiz's literal spanking at the hands of Couture is either going to kick-start an action movie career or encourage him to train even harder.

Ha ha ha! My friend and I were laughing it up! We have both been waiting and waiting for Tito to step up and fight Chuck, but I'll take the total domination that Randy handed out anyway! The fight was close for the first round then Randy just took Tito down at will and pounded him. I was a bit surprised that they didn't call the bout when Randy was wailing away in the mount, but thats Big John McCarthy for ya.

I didn't see it, and I really respect Tito's game, but I don't think he had a prayer in hell. Randy is a WORLD class grappler, and TITO can't pummel him like he does those other lightweights. Tito is a MASTER at cutting weight, and always looks like he must outweigh his opponets by 15 lbs... he must be able to fight with zero water in his body, cause man is he ripped. Still, Randy has always been the man. Who thought Tito would be able to ground and pound him. Tito isn't good enough on his feet to put in a good show like a Mo Smith type, and he isn't gonna have the takedown defense to stop a world class Randy C. I will have to wait to watch it on DVD or dl it on the internet, but I can't wait to watch it.
