Cubs vs. Red Sox Series
 

Okay, now that the White Sox have officially let me down, (okay, so it was a week ago. I'm a little late here), I'm pulling for a Red Sox/Cubs World Series.

Think of the suspense! :eek: Think of all the fans this would draw in. Which team would blink first? Think of the TV ratings! Which team will end over 90 years of frustration? Which first basemen will let the ball through his legs? Will a black cat cross the path of the Cubs, like in '69? Come on folks, this'd be great! Fox execs have to be crappin' their pants at the possibilities!

Red Sox - Cubs, 7th game, top of the tenth 0 - 0, Commisioner calls off the series, says "no one deserves to lose". Riots start in country. MLB as we know it now is never played again.

think of the mass suicides and mass pregnancy that would occur in the opposite cities!

Dream on Red Sox Fans. Maybe the Cubs have the heart to get there, but the Red Sox will choke like they always do.

Save yourself some time and lose fast so you can get some golf in before the grass turns yellow for the winter.

as long as the yankees are in the race...the red sox will NEVER get to the final show. but hey...congrats on getting that wild card spot.

I"m a Cubs fan, so like a Boston fan, you always have to accept the fact, they will fail.

But, man, seeing the Cubs/Boston in the world series, that'd be amazing!

Please Cubs win! Nothing could be better for the sport of baseball than this.

Like I said in an earlier thread... an asteroid would come hurtling out of space and completely destroy the stadium in the 9th inning of Game 7.
