F1 Comes Down to The Wire
The season is coming down to the wire. For the first time since F1 has come back to American soil, the championships are still at stake. But first up is Monza - Ferrari turf.
Who is going to take the individual title? Which team will take the constructor's championship? I suppose my BAR team is out of it. My input: Raikkonen dodges some of the bad luck that has plagued him to take the individual title. Williams BMW wins the team title. 2003 F1 Standings 1 Michael Schumacher Germany 72 2 Juan Montoya Colombia 71 3 Kimi Raikkonen Finland 70 4 Ralf Schumacher Germany 58 5 Fernando Alonso Spain 54 6 Rubens Barrichello Brazil 49 7 David Coulthard Scotland 45 8 Jarno Trulli Italy 24 9 Mark Webber Australia 15 10 Jenson Button England 12 Constructors' Championship Points 1 Williams BMW 121 2 Ferrari 120 3 McLaren Mercedes 115 4 Renault 78 5 BAR Honda 15 5 Jaguar Cosworth 15 7 Toyota 14 8 Jordan Ford 11 9 Sauber Petronas 9 |

Yeah, baby. I'll be in Indy in two weeks to see the circus. Can't wait.
Monza may well be THE race of the season with the tire controversy, pressure on Ferrari to perform and Ralf possibly not at his best. I'm hoping that Juan Pablo takes the WDC. |

I havent followed the F1 standings this year, but this is definately a turn around from last season.
I wish the 2nd place guy in NASCAR was this close to the first place guy .

Michael takes Monza with Montoya in second and Raikonnen in fourth.
Therefore, Michael is three points ahead heading to the US Grand Prix. In the constructers championship, McClaren suffered a blow when Coultard ended up with a DNF. Best of all, (in my opinion) BAR posted a sixth place finsih to gain valuable points in their race with Jaguar and Toyota. |
