Who has the easiest schedule this year? (ncaa fb)
OK, so what division 1a team, that has some sort of chance at a bowl game, do you think has the easiest schedule this year? Also do you think that having an easy schedule is a benifit? I think Minnesota has a really easy schedule. But playing crappy teams all year could get you in trouble when you have to go all 4 quarters with a tough team. Thinking possibly Kansas St. Playing really crappy teams then all of a sudden someone hard, will they be ready?

Kansas State always does that.
They start off with the AA teams and move up and do quite well agains the big xii teams. OK-State also has a pretty easy looking schedule. That said, i dont think any big 12 team can have a truely easy schedule because of conference play.

Kansas State's schedule is projected to rank between two MAC schools as far as strength goes. They better not lose one game, or they will only have themselves to blame. One Loss = No BCS.
Minnesota has a much tougher schedule - they just lucked out and got the big boys of the conference at home, while they play teams like Indiana and Iowa on the road. |

Minn doesn't play all the "big boys" this year, like Ohio St and purdue. Well I just looked again at their schedule, so I will take that back MINN has the easiest schedule in the big ten, but not compaired to other schools outside the conference.
Ok kansas st will have to play 4 "harder" games out of 13 this season So hypotheticly if KS wins out and so does Miami and so does Ohiost, but ohiost squeaks by like they did last year, who should be in the SB?

The_Dude,
Did you know if next year you (UT) open your season at Ohio St? I think I saw that somewhere. Or at least one of the first few games of the season. Man that would be a good game this year.

![]() BCS-wise, Syracuse has a pretty flimsy non-conference schedule, only challenge being Norte Dame (North Carolina, Louisville, Central Florida, Toledo). Maryland HAD a flimsy one, until they lost to Northern Illinois. Arkansas's only non-conference challenge is Texas, the others being Tulsa, North Texas, and New Mexico St. Last edited by RoadRage; 09-05-2003 at 01:59 PM.. |

VA Tech schedule is much easier than it should be for a team that expects to contend. They whipped UCF in the opener, play James Madison (I-AA) today, and play UConn in a few weeks. In fact, their only non-conference games that they don't have to sleepwalk through are Texas A&M and Virginia.
