My Two Cents -
He may be the best in his age bracket - because of injuries to others. But the Classic always tends to favor four-year-olds. How do I handicap the Classic? The first thing I do is take my form, and drop all three year olds. This would, obviously, include Ten Most Wanted. But I haven't hit a Classic since the first time around for Tiznow, and I've never even played the futures. Seems to me, if you find a horse you like at good future odds, it might be worth your while. But, and noone is more right than anyone else in horse racing, I would watch out for the four-year olds (and older). |
