Now that the cuts are made, what does your team need?

The final NFL roster cuts were made today meaning that there will be a lot of players available right now. Granted, they aren't always the highest quality players in there, but there are the occasional "diamonds in the rough" that can be acquired right now. Now that teams have a chance to pick people up, what does your team need at this point in order to help them be successful or be more successful this season?

I'm a Bears fan (obviously), and our top priority is on the offensive line. The line had question marks to begin with, but with Marc Columbo out for at least five weeks into the season and Rex Tucker out for the year, the line will need a boost. We're also weak at running back. The back ups are solid, but our starter (Anthony Thomas) looks nothing like he did in his rookie season. His vision for the field is gone, and he's hesitating when it comes to hitting the open holes. Unless he goes back to his rookie form, this may be his last year as a Bear.

The Ravens need another reciever. They cut two today, even though Hymes is out for the year with a knee injury.

The Lions need a CB badly. They lost one of their starters for the season 2 weeks ago.

The Browns need a defense badly. Assuming the Ravens won't cut their whole first-team, the Browns could pick up a random defensive end.

But Butch Davis said that it is unlikely that he picks up anyone off the waiver wire.

OK, the Niners have spoiled me over the years. Until the last couple of years they were deep at most postions. Then they got really thin, especially on defense.

So here they are coming off a season where they made the playoffs and they still need a punter, a kicker and (like just about every team) CBs.

Bernies Insiders is reporting Brett Romberg, OL, has traveled to Cleveland after being cut by Jacksonville.

He made quite a splash with the Jags, but the numbers game got him. Likely will be signed to practice squad. I hope he signs.

He signed.

With Jacksonville's practice squad.

Oh well. One less OL out there for your Bears, Spectre.

I don't think the Rams really need anything but Kurt Warner and Marshall Faulk to stay healthy for an entire season.

Kijana Carter had a nice preseason for them and they cut him. James Fenderson certainly isn't the answer. I like the way Mcallister plays, I hope for his sake and the fans sake that he stays healthy. Aaron Brooks can't do it all.

Carter will be resigned on Monday, and therefore, his entire 2003 salary will not be guaranteed.
