Sidebar: The great Ernie Harwell recently joined the Wednesday nite baseball guys for the whole game, during which he told many stories. When asked about Cobb, he said that Cobb always treated him well. And he said he had a story - In the late fourties (well after Cobb was done playing), Harwell, Cobb, and the man that was Cobb's GM were at Augusta for the Master's.
