ESPN
I don't know about you guys but the next time I see that ad for the ESPN serie called " The playmaker" I'm going to pute!!!
First of all, it is stupid to start a football show so close to the start of the NFL season and they show it on almost every commercial break and it is so long............. |

Yeah they are definitely pulling some overkill with this series. But then again, remember that they did the same thing for their movie Junction Boys. I probably wouldn't mind either if it wasn't such a long commercial. And it never changes! I practically know every line from it. But the weird thing is, I don't even know when it premieres, and shouldn't that be the most important thing?

This is "Any Given Sunday" made for TV. All the melodrama, none of the Al Pacino.
I might watch it to see if it is remotely decent, but it isn't looking too good now.

Oh look, it's on again.
*Guy runs fast, guy gets pulled over, guy tries to play cool, guy ends up handcuffed on sidewalk* Gripping...Truely...and utterly...Gripping... Why is ESPN pulling an MTV and doing everything EXCEPT sports?

One day an Englishman, a Scotsman, and an Irishman walked into a pub together. They each bought a pint of Guinness. Just as they were about to enjoy their creamy beverage, three flies landed in each of their pints. The Englishman pushed his beer away in disgust. The Scotsman fished the fly out of his beer and continued drinking it, as if nothing had happened. The Irishman, too, picked the fly out of his drink but then held it out over the beer and yelled "SPIT IT OUT, SPIT IT OUT, YOU BASTARD!" |

The only way to stop this shit is stop watching the stupid network. I mean, don't stop watching live games, but stop watching the other made for TV crap. Especially "Sports Center"
It seems more or more people are starting to realize that the people running ESPN don't know what end of the bat to hold. |
