RIP Peter Zezel
The name may not be familiar to everyone here, but to those who watched the Flyers in the 80's, the Leafs in the 90's or are hockey fans in general, you know the name, and how dominating he was on the face offs throughout his career.
I remember as a young center watching him on face offs and trying to duplicate what I saw him do, from turning your body to block the opponent from the puck to tying up the opposing center in your end if you lose the draw. He was still so young, but fought a tough, hard 10 year battle against a blood disorder that he ultimately lost, RIP Mr. Zezel you will be missed by the fans. Quote:

He was one of the first Leafs I ever saw play live, back in the '90s.
I'm sorry to hear he's gone.

Wish I could have seen him play live, never been to a Leafs game, but been a fan since I was born 32 years ago, played a game when I was 6 or 7 at MLG, played against a team from Richmond but never caught the Leafs live, hopefully someday, when they actually have a good team, which means I may be 64 by that time haha.
