Thanksgiving Turkey(s)
129 - 39
that's what the NFL gave us today for our entertainment... fortunately i was pre-occupied with 5 grand-kids... 1: the detroit lions should have their franchise revoked 2: seattle should move to oklahoma and then maybe the thunder may get some lightning 3: would someone please tell warner to go on a bledsoe retreat? this has to be the biggest boner Thanksgiving of NFL history... (BUUUUUUUUUURP) |

It has gotten to the point where saying the Lions are horrible is not enough; you're the second person I've read mention that the Lions should be out of the NFL.
The Cardinals went from contender, to more of a pretender in one night. Getting beat by a great Giants team is nothing to pass judgment on, but losing badly to a inconsistent Eagles team was embarrassing. It was not the final result as much as how they lost that showed their vulnerability. No defense and a stubborn insistence on avoiding the fun, even early in the game when it was not a blowout. This led to 7 Eagles players in pass coverage and 2 Kurt Warner picks. |

Aw, come on Hanxter. They make out the schedule LONG before they knew which teams are dominant and which ones are dormant. The Cards were supposed to beat the Eagles, so that was a surprise. Besides, as the cliches go, "That's why they play the games" and "On any given Sunday..." (or in this case, Thursday)
I'm just pissed off that the Thursday night games are only available on the NFL Network, which is not included in my "Basic Plus" package. Yet another HD channel that is being held ransom by Comcast. Bastards!
