have you..........
got your authentic LeBron James Jersey that cost 184.00 dollars x2 yet(I have both the home and away)
|
After Rashan Salaam and Curtis Enis were drafted by the Bears, I learned my lesson about buying jerseys of unproven, newly drafted players.
|
LeBron won't be a bust though. ;)
No way in hell I'd spend that much for a damn jersey. |
Lotta weight on that young man's shoulders. He's gonna wish he had more help. Good luck to him!
|
Especially with selfish, self-centered players like Davis and Wagner, Labron's gonna need it.
|
hell no, i dont have that kinda money!
i'd buy a jersey w/ tj ford on it |
If Lebron isn't the next coming of Michael Jordan, then he'll be a failure... you don't spend the kinda dough Nike did without expecting lotsa rings and quickly. Too bad he landed in a program in as bad shape as Cleveland.
I hope he makes it, I just think the folks buying the $184 home and away jersey's are going to expect miracles out of this teenager. Those expectations could be tough to meet. (TJ Ford will need to make a couple of outside shots before his jersey is worth much...:) ) |
I got the home ANd away I paid it works out to be 380sometin dollars

Nike knows what they're getting themselves into. They're getting 2 years of hype and a hometown hero. Besides, they don't care about rings, they care about $$$, remember? :D |
1984 Draft -
1. Akeem Olajuwon 2. Sam Bowie 3. Michael Jordan Michael had high expectations coming out of college, but not expectations like LeBron has, not even close. Also, the NBA was completely different in the 1980s than it is today. Produce TODAY or hit the bricks. Michael got a 6 year "honeymoon" that Lebron won't get. Lebron will only get hype if he produces. I also doubt Nike paid 90mil for a couple years and out... they expect rings and quick, or their long term investment is a loser. They want a many year MJ or Tiger Woods style player... I hope Lebron can really carry an organization like Cleveland on his shoulders, and soon. |
