Any Cal football fans?
 

Anyone but me rooting for Cal in this forum?

I was three years old the last time Cal played in the Rose Bowl. I hope to see it for myself at least once before I die. This could be the year. We already gobsmacked Tennessee and most of the tough games -- most notably USC -- are at home. I'm actually the most worried about the Oregon game. Coach Tedford has never beaten the Ducks in Eugene.

The conference starts this weekend and I'm ready for some football. In fact, I will be in Memorial Stadium for the Arizona game.

As a Tennesse fan, I think that I can safely tell you to pound yourself bloody against the Ducks.

God, that was an awful game for us...

Actually, Jazz, you guys moved the ball pretty well. Take away out two non-offensive touchdowns and you have a tie game.

Now, last year, THAT was an awful game!

I'm a Cal alum and would be willing to watch the Rose if they make it there. I wont even do that for the Dawgs. :)

As I noted in another thread, Cal is ranked #3 for the first time since Harry Truman was president. This could be the Rose Bowl year. USC looked very beatable against Washington and we get 'em in Berkeley this year.

Rose tickets are a mortgage, but I might go if the Bears made it.
