| Mine is an evil laugh Location: Sydney, Australia | Actually this whole world cup has been very anti-climatic. I'm struggling to think of too many games that really came down to the wire (I know there were a couple, but the tournament has been going on too long with too many one sided games). All may be forgiven if the final is a real contest. Maybe Sri Lanka's decision to rest Vaas and Murali for the earlier game against Oz might be a masterstroke.

| Mine is an evil laugh Location: Sydney, Australia | And the tournament almost ended in a complete farce with Umpires deciding they should "come back tomorrow" to complete the last 3 overs with Sri Lanka needing 70+ for victory. Instead it ended in the dark - the TV cameras make it possible to see what is going on - but when they unenhanced the picture, you couldn't even see the players. While it is nice to win, I'm worried that there really wasn't a decent contest - the Aussies didn't look troubled in any of their games.
