The Big Hurt in again, last year was BALCO, usually Montana's MVP's or Madman's Maulers.

Just as too many donuts in real life will make you sick, so too will the large amount of roto points team Donuts will get this season. Donuts rules!

I like the roster size and stats but damn, that's a really early draft date. why not one closer to opening day when roster spaces are set? I've got lots of prospects in mind that could be great late round pickups but it wouldn't make sense to get them now since some might not get make it out of camp. Also there are always those ST injuries that can wreck a team before the season starts.

I understand where you are coming from,

I went to go check if I could change it but it wont let me in addition,
If I was to go any closer to April 2 we would have to do a draft like at 9 am or 11 pk, no good draft times.

We will have to stay with the date we have.

It wont be bad, you will just have to really [plan your picks and there is always free agency to make your changes down the line,
There is no free agent pick up limits.

Sorry, but it would be hard to please everyone,
3 weeks before opening day isn t too bad.

Anyhow it should still be a great league!

Hi,
I have received an e-mail in the league if we can make this daily instead of weekly changes,
There are two reassons why I chose weekly.

The first reason is really a selfish reason: I will be in 5 leagues this year

A live in person sit down draft money League (this is the 20th year!) only my second with them though

A dynasty league (full keeper auction minor league system) 2nd year for me league

Work Money League 4th year

Tournament 1st year (but very intriguing)

And of Course TFP. 4th year

All 5 leagues I really want to be in but man its a lot.

I wanted the TFP league to stand out for me while not being overwhlmed.
Weekly is just way easier for me (sorry)

The other reason is because well the other league is daily, this will mix it up a little bit and for those who swear to daily league you still have another great league you can Join,

I hope we can keep this one weekly, of course if everyone says daily I would have no choice to change it.
But I think with 2 leagues for the TFP

It is nice to have different settings.

Another thing Is boy we have some great teams joining, some ones that have given us some serious run for the money in the league (screaming eagles just joined)
We are half full already after one day.

I think the league will fill soon,
So I wouldn t wait to long to join.
I would love to see some old and new faces (which is what I think is happening)

Anyhow, I am intentially trying to keep this a casual league however the settings make it pretty competitive

P.S I dare any of you to take the Boone brothers in the first 2 rounds :)

I vote for daily. There are just too many injuries and pitching changes. Also it seems to me to be harder to keep up with the schedules to figure out who has the most games/starts next week in order to set your lineup.

If only weekly changes are allowed and one of your plitchers goes down you may miss 2 or 3 starts and wait 10 days or more for a new pitcher's start date.

If there are daily changes allowed you can still set up your lineup on a weekly basis if you want. Seems like the best of both worlds.

Just so you know this is pretty much not up for vote,
If you are really are wanting daily changes this may not be the league you want.
You can actually start another league as well if you like too.
You would be surprised how many people here love fantasy sports.
In a few weeks, more people willl be looking for leagues.

I assumed you were asking for our input? If daily transactions are allowed you can still do it weekly or even monthly if you want. I don't see the downside.

I've never done one of these, but it sounds fun. If someone isn't available on the draft day and time, what happens? Getting to a computer on a Saturday afternoon is hit or miss for me.

You can pre-rank your players for the computer to pick for you.

Join the league and then go to pre-renk players. You can edit your list as much as you want up untill the draft.

I would actually recomend this for everyone, just in case your computer tweaks out on you or something, it is a good back-up
