Date tips
Hello,
I've honestly started running out of things to do...it's always "the movies" now, hehe. I'd like to get some advice on what to do on dates. These dates are not with different people, its me and my girlfriend just looking for something to do, and it would be great to hear all your opinions and sudgestions. I've read other posts, and the people here seem really experienced, and eventhough most of the posts are about sex, I think this one fits in well. Thanks, -lok |

This is a good as place as any for this question.
Please tell us more about you two. How old are you, where are you living (alone/roommates/college/parents), budgets for going out, etc.

We reside in Toronto, Canada. We each live with our parents and I am 19 and she's 18. Well, as far as our budget, if I were to estimate, weekly it would be anywhere around 20-80$ a week, because we both have post secondary education to look to, so you all know how much money that takes.
Anything else you guys want to know, feel free to ask. |

I love to read to my wife... we are now rereading the Harry Potter books.
This sounds kinda silly, but one of my best dates ever, we bought a coloring book and crayons and just colored for 3 hrs, it was a great time. Sit in a mall or a outdoor cafe and make up stories about passersbay. Go see a BlueJays game.. not sure on ticket prices though. Go to a clothing store and try on clothes different than you would ever wear. Test drive a car. These are just some random ideas I just got... in short, make each day an adventure.

what are some things you like to do?
I'd definitely check out your local newspapers or places like Time Out Toronto or other places for free things to do... gotta be cheaper than going to the movies...

To another poster above, Jays games are not too expensive, you can get tickets for like 10$ or 8$ but you will be sitting in nearly the most top row... My g/f is really close to her brother, like she'd drop w/e she was doing and like spend time with him, they have this rare family connection. The reason I brought this up was because he called her to come to a family barbeque, and they are spanish (and I dont know spanish) just as we were going to the Bluffs, so She said she'd make it up to me... |

Take her to a horror movie. It works. Most girls I've been with were afraid of horror movies. You can protect her in a sense. She might hold you when the scary parts come up. Hee hee. Try it.
