What's the big deal anyways? I mean, shaved or not, you're still gonna hit it right? So you get a few hairs in your mouth... Deal with it! Maybe they don't wanna shave because of the red bumps later on, or the scratchy little stubble, or they just don't wanna, but that's no reason not to give it some attention right?
I've only known a landing strip, so I could be completely wrong, but I see nothing wrong with getting up close and personal with a little fuzzage!

I use just a regular razor on mine as well. It starts to get prickly after a week or so, but not that bad cause you just shave again. It only takes a few seconds.
I guess if you wanted you could try waxing it *OUCH*, just kidding. I know people who have also tried using the creams like nair, but it burns really bad and is a little dangerous. The razor isnt that bad once you get used to it, and there are rarely mistakes made. I usually use an electric beard trimmer for the rest. |

When did shaving take over? It seemed kind of overnight. I am of a generation where no one shaved, so I could say something crotchety like, "You young people have so little imagination that you can't even imagine somebody's goodies through the pubic hair. Now, put down the video games and start using your damn imagination."
Or something like that.

I shave most, keep a small patch up top for decoration. I have to say, the smoothness is quite a pleasure, for me and for anyone else involved...
Can't do it every day, because the skin gets irritated very easily when the hair starts growing back. Once every three days seems to be optimal for me.

Everyone is talking shave or no shave - what about waxed???
Its the ultimate - stays smooth for heaps longer, and stuble is not as itchy... hurts like hell though! Waxed is the way to go - guys and girls.

problem with waxing, as i see it, is that, don't you have to let the hair grow out a bit before you can sucessfully wax it?
for some people, that temporary 'fluffiness' is not acceptable...

Good point. But the hair does not have to be THAT long - if you get it done professionally (and I suggest you do!), they usually can get at it with only a few millimetres protruding - the beauty of it is as time goes on, less and less hair grows back and it is finer - none of the itchiness.
Temprary fluffiness does not have to be endured for too long - maybe a couple of days every three to four weeks - and it is fluffiness, not sandpaper! You should try it sometime...

This thread should have been made a poll, eh?
I've changed my opinion, over the years. As a younger man, any amount of pubic hair was acceptable, as long as I got some! But now, I find most heavy bushes to be a turn-off. A trim, at minimum, is called for-- show good grooming, a woman is taking care of herself down there. Shaving is a definite bonus!

You dont want to know!!!
Seriously though, any beauty salon that services women will generally do men too (well they do here in Australia) assuming the beautician is ok with it. The chick that does me and my better half is quite a hottie too! It hurts like hell initially, but you get used to it. For everyone's reference, most of the girls you see on the Titty Board do not shave...can you imagine shaving around your ring? You can learn a lot from your local beautician...

(of course shaved pussy is tasty, but that wasn't the question) yeah, both me and my bf shave bare, and we love it. looks good, feels good. worth the maintenance and trouble. (which gets less as you get used to it) go for it!

I like anything except scratchy stubble.
Peachlike is nice, and has some obvious benefits, but neatly trimmed is also awesome too. Even hairy has it's moments, it just seems....primal.

how can chicks not like it? I mean really...do most normal guys like going south on a big hairy mound? no....so shouldn't we return the favor and give the ladies a nice clean platform to enjoy?

has anyone hear of those small hair removal wands like finishing touch and symplique? They look like they work well, but of course they never say how long the hair takes to start growing back. Depilatories like epil-stop work alright in some areas, but not always; and if you apply it on wet skin you'll have a nasty rash.
oh well, to the actual thread subject: trimmed is very appreciated, shaved is damn hot!

Mmmm, yum. I especially enjoy actually shaving my boys - waxing is even more fun! but that's because I'm evil.
Besides, it does make your cock look longer if there's no run-away pubes around the base and you're much more likely to get good oral sex - nothings worse than choking ona stray pube! |
