You Get What You Pay For!!!
it seems consumer reports did some fornicating with "safety" in mind...
they tested 20 some odd brands of condoms and the product that came in last of those??? the freebies being passed out by Planned Parenthood (this should please the right-to-lifers)... linkage my thoughts on this is that i feel that parents should take more interest in what their kids use for products that may affect their lives and not rely on outside agencies to do it for them... maybe now that this report is out, they will... |
thats not too good. to think that family parenting are surposed to prevent pregnancy and STDs.
i also have to admit that when i first saw the title of this thread, i thought it had something to do with hookers... |
They didn't include my brand (Durex Avanti), although they had 3 other Durex models. :(

Interesting. The condoms our planned parenthood used to give out were these thick-ass Durex ones. I didn't know they had their own "house brand" as well. I do think that parents should be more interest in what products their kids are using, but most of the parents I know are either in complete denial about their kids' sexual activity. If not, it is one of those things that either party tends to want to bring up conversationally. I don't think that is the way it should be, but I don't know how to go about changing it either.

Donate to your local Planned Parenthood; then maybe they will be able to afford better condoms.
But any condom's a lot better than none. |

I'm also a Durex user, although i'm too poor for the Avanti. |
Hmmm, the only free condoms I've ever encountered were Durex condoms.
|
i usually use the trojan ribbed... the gold box ones...
anyone have the listing and how each one scored on the test? |

I think adam is on the right track. They can only buy what they can afford and I don't think donations are flowing in. You would think condom makers would want to donate their product to Planned Parenthood for at least the publicity. |
they should just go out and buy the condoms. if they can't afford it then they should get a job. if that doesn't work than they should try abstinence.
