Liberator Replacement
Some of you may have heard of the liberator (link). Well I just showed it to my girlfriend, and we agreed that The Stage version would be a cool thing to have. Unfortunately, its not a $130 cool thing to have.
So I'm thinking that somewhere out there is a regular cheap cushion of the same dimensions (24x9x48) that we could use as a budget version. Does anybody know of a potential candidate? |
My fiancee and I have also thought that something like this would be really nice to have, but like you've said it's a bit expensive... So far we've gotten along pretty well just with judicious use of pillows.

perhaps try a medical supply store? i've seen foam versions of the same thing but have no clue on pricing.
*edit* didn't bother to check what the stage version looked like. but since it looks like a wedge on top of a rectangle, pretty sure you could come up with a homemade version--particularly if either of you can sew a case to hold two seperate cusions together. |
My wife and I _almost_ ordered a Stage as well. What scared us off was price, and storage space. I have seen them crop up on ebay, but the price isn't much different. I would be interested in some alternatives as well.

I gave my wife the wedge / ramp combo. The party is a goin on! Her most repeated comment is "this is soooo comfortable". Storage is a problem, but its cool gear!!

Those are really easy to construct. You just have make a wedge/stage out of wood, then get several layers of that foam padding from Fabricland or some place like that, and then cover it in some velvet like material. If you do this, you can also mod it how it would be most comfortable for you...

They even have romantic restraints. That sounds so much nicer than handcuffs.
I bet it would really be comfy with something soft and fluffy like sheep skin instead of velvet. |
