Womens idea about hair (on a man)
I wish to know what women think of mens hair. Let me stop you from assuming what i mean. I wiss to know about the hair on the chest and stomic.
If you wish to add what kind of "hot" hair styles do you like to see a guy have. "Picturs are worth a thousand words". Well i might as well do you like a guys ass and pelvic area to be shaved as well? Well its late and i was going to add a poll but somthen happened and it didnt work out so i am editing this so you can still respond |
Ok. You posted this at 2am your time and the typing is a bit off. Some assumptions could be made here. You aren't very clear on what you're asking and haven't given your OWN opinion on the subject you bring up. Perhaps some clarifying/correcting might help in getting this going?

I like the guys hair cut, to be short with a fade in the front, or high and tight its sexy.
I like guys with no back/chest or butt hair, and for arm and leg hair not to hairy is what I like, oh yea and NO foot hair yucky. Well, If I really like the guy the hair does not matter in less its to hairy down there, then Chop Chop lol. |
i personally i hate hair. i want a guy to be as clean as possible, EVERYWHERE. imean EVERYWHERE, the only hair i don't mind is airpit and the hair on his head.
|
ok i ment the "hot" hair style for the hair on his head
if theres any more ? just post i will explain |
I like it kept short for my guy. . . totally untamed on the chest and stomach is a bit of a turn off for me . . . as for the bush down there, keep it short and trimmed . . . giving head is not as fun when it's too natural down there :) Plus, if you keep it trimmed, it also makes your dick look bigger, which if you aren't a porn star, is always a plus :)
However . . . . That being said ......................... Do whatever you like man, if you like it natural or trimmed or whatever keep it that way . . . you don't need to change for someone else. it's your body, you keep it the way you feel comfortable . . . Be yourself and Guarantee you . . . there is some gal out there who will love it just the way you are . . . :) |

Combovers are a big no... if you are getting thin on the top, accept it and move on, don't try to hide it with hair that you are growing elsewhere -- you will just be laughed at... and they aren't laughing at the baldness, you get laughed at for the vanity. |

Really, what has happened in society that men aren't ALLOWED to be men anymore. Do you really want these sissified, metrosexual guys that need help opening a can of spaghetti sauce? Do you really want to compete for the mirror and your hair dryer in the morning? I think it's the younger crowd that is into this androgeny crap. Me, I have chest hair, stomach hair, leg hair, arm hair, and some hair on my butt. I keep the hedges trimmed at all times. I am a man - I am proud. |
Personally, being a hairy guy, I sometimes wish I could get alopecia areata and lose all of my hair. I currently trim everywhere I can reach, but it takes too much time.
|
Fuck trimming. Seriously...
Well, maybe one area. |
i will commment on the hair style on guys. my boyfriends hair is actually longer than mine (and he does take care of it, showers everyday, and keeps it braided) what i love about it though is that after he showers in the morning i get to braid it.
|
Reading this thread makes me sad, being quite a hairy guy. I have about the same length hair as my girlfriend and am covered in a small layer of fur. And the foot hair comment was just a twist of the knife. It's quite hard to keep all this hair taimed/trimmed. Luckily i've found a girl who likes all this hair.

I personally don't dig body hair on men - I'll accept some on the legs, pubes are normal, etc., but no big bush of chest or stomach hair for me, much less back hair! On the head, however, I do require hair, and I can never really see the attraction in shaved heads or buzz-cut styles.
In response to some comments made in this thread - I've been involved with lots of guys who met these criteria, and they have all been just as masculine as they ever needed to be and could fuck all night long too! |

I probably have less body hair than a lot of women but wouldn't hesitate to use a sawzall on the spaghetti sauce if it was warranted, nor would I hesitate to go make my own spaghetti sauce if I felt like it. Maybe it's time to re-evaluate your stereotypes? Body hair != masculine. |
FUZZY!!!
SCRUFFY!!!! |
Some girls like hairy men, some - don't :)

You know... All these women saying they'll "accept" only a little hair here or there... Let me tell you from experience that AT LEAST 9 out of 10 times it's total and absolute bullshit. They might PREFER little or no hair here or there, but once they've gotten far enough to actually realize that you're halfway to being a bear, they're probably not going to turn back. It might cut down on repeat customers, but that's only a concern if you're a total man-whore such as myself. Plus, there's no way that a girl who actually is interested in you as a person is going to want nothing to do with you because you're hairy. If a girl wants you to ditch the fuzz, go for it - hell, she'll probably even help you get those hard-to-reach spots - but most girls that I've been with have either grown to like it or just stopped caring, which is all the better for me 'cause DAMN is it annoying to keep as much hair as I have in check.

i've never experienced the "shaved" look down under, though i prefer trimmed, and would love to know what it would be like if my boyfriend shaved. as far as hairy chests/backs go - i like men to not conceal what they have, or be doubtful in regards to what they dont have. if you have a hairy chest - then be proud of it. if you're unhappy, joke with me about it.<p>
speaking above-the-waist-style.. i really like the not-recently-shaved gruffy look on men.. hair under the chin and on the cheeks... now thats hot. |

no desire for him to shave it all off though--the upkeep would be insane. i'd much rather lay my head on his chest all covered in soft hair than 1/4 inch stubble. |

For how many decades have women been told in their magazines that they aren't good enough unless they buy this, weigh this amount, have these kinds of shoes - all with the intent of wrecking self-esteem and selling products. Having exhausted all methods of scrutinizing the female gender, the male gender is now subject to ridiculous and unrealistic physical expectations. Every male model is hairless (in the fashion mags), every one has a perfect hairline, perfect pecs, perfect lats, etc. How is this unrealistic body image any different that what women have been fighting for years? And why are we (men AND women) falling into the trap? I was not speaking to countingsheep's opinion on hair. Rather, I was speaking on the societal evolution that is occurring, where men are now being targetted by commercialism and being told they aren't good enough just the way they are. |
Lets see:
Chest hair: check back hair: yep arms, legs, feet: check, check, check nifty bald spot: yep Tell ya what, I won't complain about the size of your boobs or ass and you accept that my hair grows where it wants. |

My point exactly! |
Being a male of Irish heritage, I never had much body hair anyway. So I chose to remove what little I have. Chest clean, pits clean, below the belt clean. Legs and arms still have light amount of hair. Full head of hair on top though and no baldness happening either..
|
there's no newfound intolerence for male body hair.
some girls prefer hair, some prefer none. some guys prefer to shave, some don't. period. jeez. |

I prefer long hair on the head.
Minimal body hair. That means absolutely no hairy chests or backs, and maybe I'm a freak, but I think men should shave their arms and legs. |
Yeah, maybe you are. Call ME crazy, but I was born like this, and I'll be damned if I'm going to waste hours of my week trying to fight it.
...Well, rephrase that. I was born with this predisposition. But this is how I came out of puberty! Heheh. |
Yeah, well we all have our preferences. I can see where it would be a battle for some men. Fortunately for me it isn't much of a battle for my boyfriend and we get a little laugh when he notices he missed a few hairs on his knee.
It really isn't such a freaky thing in this part of the country. I just mention 'freak' because I've noticed that some people in different regions of the country have different opinions about it. |

Whatever happened to the good old days when women liked sexy, hairy lumberjack types? *wistful sigh* |
Well, I'll describe nwlinkvxd: very little chest hair, no stomach hair (natural!), has no back hair (thank god), occasionally shaves his pubes once it gets pretty bad (according to me), and yeah, I guess he shaves his asscrack very rarely (which eh, if he keeps the hair, it doesn't matter cos I'm not poking any fingers in there). Don't mind the armpit, foot, leg, or arm hair (it's furry and cute...and hobbit-y for the feet).
On the head, which you didn't really directly ask, I like neatly taken care of, short hair. There are very few occasions when I think long-haired men are attractive. I pretty much like a smoothie. |
I enjoy facial hair, and chest hair.
That's one of the best parts of being with a man! |
I dont really care what anyone says, but shaving your pubes bald is great. It makes a big dick look huge! Also, would you guys who dont wanna shave like it if the girl you were with didn't shave? And I dont just mean her pubes, I mean her legs and underarms. I dont think you guys would so it seems a little hyppocritical to me.
And I shave my pubes because the girlfriend loves it and I get more head out of it.......I think its worth it! |
there was a period when i was younger when i was greatly turned on by hairy men, but now i like them smooth. some very neat hair on the chest, stomach, arms, and thighs still can be very nice. so i guess the taste for hair not only varies among individuals but can change over time for one person as well.
|
As a hairy man, I have no problems with feminine hair, anywhere. I extend the same courtesy I expect to be extended to me. Take me as I am, or not at all.
