chattiness = bad head
 

I must admit that lousy head can be a deal-breaker with a girl no matter how nice she looks.
It'd be great to know these things in advance - before the moment of truth, but that's not possible... or is it?
I've noticed a tendency, among the women I've dated, for their oral skills to be inversely proportional to their "chattiness." Put another way - the women who talk A LOT (i.e. gossip about anything and everything - you know, the ones who do more talking than listening - where you catch yourself thinking, "Please just shut up!") tend to give terrible head.
The best head always came from the women with whom you can have a "normal" conversation - who don't seem to need to project a "socially adept" persona.

I'm curious if other guys have found this to be true (or untrue). I won't confound the topic by trying to explain it for now. But what's your experience, guys?

(Please don't attack me for being sexist. For the record, I'm not saying that either of these qualities (chattiness vs. normal) is specific to the female gender - I'm just offering an observation to some of the men.)

Longbough.. I have to agree to an extent, only because I can only remember the absolute worst head giver I ever had (Girl from Boston that yapped like a poodle!) and the best head (girl from Florida that was shy and reserved in public!).

So, I do agree.

I haven't really noticed a trend like that but that's usually just because I don't pay attention until I start getting head..


ok just kidding. I think it's just really all about experience. I've had girls that were quite chatty that gave exceptional head and vise versa. So I guess to answer your question I find your theory to be false. :D

I never liked oral until I met this gal who just loved it.

she was really good at it and had NGR (no gag reflex) It was great initially but then got tiresome because I'd come home from a long day and just plop onto the couch to read or watch TV and she'd just pull my dick out and start sucking on it.

As I girl, I can imagine this to be true because most chatty girls are somewhat insecure and compensate by being ultra-friendly. Whereas shy girls may also be insecure, but they would compensate with actions, not words. So you'd get a chatty girl who tries to make you like her by talking nicely and telling jokes, and a shy girl who tries to make you like her by baking cookies and giving head. It's no surprise the guys don't like chatty girls, if my theory is true.

[edit] plus also when you take a break to say something, it kind of ruins the flow.

i vote probably not for the hypothesis, but the results as per my experience prove it true

Well, I've heard that the shy ones are the freakiest ones...Maybe this applies to giving head too?

I'd say it has more to do with upbringing.
I've had more then one girl say "only sluts do that", or "i'm not dirty".
These girls were quieter types.

I would imagine the more the girl is into it, the better its going to be.. that being said, I (sadly) have yet to meet a girl that enjoys it.

Some practical advice - go out of your way to learn how to go down properly on a woman and learn to love it (read books, look for pointers from lesbians etc.). Many women will return the favor with as much enthusiasm as you demonstrate on them. It sounds silly, but it works.

Enthusiasm is the greatest tool I have in my toolbox. It is the number one essential to giving good head, and that goes for both women and men. If you're happy to do it, and seem to enjoy it, your partner is more at ease and more likely to enjoy it as well. I certainly never thought I would enjoy it, but God...it's addicting!
