Good idea or bad idea for a gift?
 

Basically i'm thinking about buying her a tiny, un obtrusive and innocent looking butt plug in addition to the normal gifts :lol:. have never broached the anal topic with her before, but she knows i'm experimental and curious. :cool:

i figure she could A- think i'm crazy, B- laugh about it, or C- think about using it. there's probably a host of other possibilities, but B or C would work alright for me.

Anyone else have stories about such gifts that went over well or not so well? I'd share my own stories if i had them to share. after this holiday season i just might :D

I got this girl a dildo a few years ago. Mind you, she was kind of ..open minded when it came to sex ;-)

No stories but I guess in your case, if you are unsure how she will react, you may want to approach the issue first and wait on the gift until next year or never depending on how she reacts.

Also, my wife would be okay receiving something like that as a birthday or even a secondary anniversary gift but for her, Christmas is different. She would be offended receiving it during a religious holiday, even though she isn't overly religious. Just something to think about.

I'd say get it and see how she reacts. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Ask her, as casually as possible, what she thinks about anal play. Judge whether or not to get it for her by her reaction to that.

I can't remember the specific name of the artist who designed them (damn work filter software), but I got my wife the medium sized with the skull on the end of it (you have to see it to know what I am talking about). Blowfish has some seriously cool stuff.

If it's the "butt" part rather than the "toy" part that you wonder about, perhaps you could get a toy that's a little more ambiguous. If it happens to end up in someone butt I guess the subject has been broached.

As long as it is \"in addition to\" the other gifts, you should be fine. But make sure it\'s not the focus of your christmas gifts for her; you don\'t want this to go down her memory lane as the christmas with the plug.

If she's sexually gung-ho and ready to try new things, you can't go wrong. While I might look at my SO a little oddly if I unwrapped one myself, there's really no harm intended. If she has a sense of humor she may think it's a gag gift, so really it should be OK.
