What do you call her?
Just wondering, what do you call your SO? Other than by her name, ofcourse.
|
When referencing her in conversation, I call her my wife. Other than that... Six Kitten.
|
I call her Sweets, she calls me Goob (yes, as in Goober).
|
Babe
Mr Mephisto |
sweety usually, or bitch occasionally (she knows I'm joking).
|
Can we girls participate in this thread too?
Anyway, it all depends on the day and what we've been talking about. Sometimes I call him Big Hamster, and sometimes I call him Honeybunches of Oats. Or maybe Snugglebugs, and sometimes Snuggleteats. Today I called him my Large Cat, just because Ive been talking about large cats recently. |
I'm a girl and I'm going to participate...Usually I just call him by his first name. Once in awhile I'll call him my cupcake or snickerdoodle. He doesn't seem to mind and its only when we are cuddling. He would be humiliated infront of his friends.

First name, hon, babe.
|
Gaawjus, Baby-cakes, sexxxy guuurlfriend. :D
|
My girlfriend calls me "pants," but I can't recall any recent times that I've called her by anything but her first name. It seems to take away from her personality to me.
|
first name, honey, mooki (don't ask)
|
Jan (pronounced Yon), Juan, oh wise guru, wild animal
|
baby, honey, or gene-receptacle
|
I used to call my ex "Bubble-butt" and "Tweety" (a stupid/cute way of saying "sweety").
|
m'lady
deahlist (dearest with an 'L" for the r and a hungarian accen) |
I only call her by her first name. I never cared for these cute little nicknames; they seem childish to me.
|
i havent got a SO at the moment but usually i either call them kiddo or chicken. never really liked babe... not sure why...
|
Generally I refer to her as honey, but sweet baboon is an occasional standby, and when I want to have sex it's 'baaaaayyyyyyyyyyyybeeeeeeeeeeeee',
usually said in a sentence like 'but bayyyyyyyyyyybeeeeee, I'm hurtin'' after being rejected. |
hun, hunnie, sweetness, sweetie, dear. hehe, nothing too origional. She prefers sweetness.
|
Honey, sweetie, and Cuphead. I suppose that last one needs an explanation.
Early one morning, we awoke to our baby crying, so I got up and took care of him, and when I returned to bed, she said "Thanks honey." I MEANT to say "You're welcome, sleepyhead" but I might have been thinking "You're welcome, cupcake" and crossed the two, and said "You're welcome, Cuphead." She thought it was funny, and the name stuck. In fact, her license plate now says CUPHEAD. She calls me Mikey. Our 3 year old son, she calls Michael. Odd, huh? I guess since I had the nickname first. -Mikey |
she always calls me "her sweetie"
|
We both call each other honey all the time. I only call her by her name when I'm really angry or have something serious to say. And now that I think about it, I don't remember the last time I heard my name come out of her mouth.
By the way, I love "gene receptacle" |
SWMBO pronounced swimbo. Kinda like tai-bo. It stands for She Who Must Be Obeyed. She hates that. LOL. Otherwise I call her schmoopy, like the Seinfeld episode. It's kind of a running joke between us.
|
I called my ex "trouble" This was so I could differentiate in my mind the thought "boy I am getting into trouble here" when referring to him from the same thougth when referring to the entire rest of my life.
I was in trouble, I was into trouble, trouble was into me....it got confusing for my brain after while, but it was an applicable name. |
mami, or mamita - yeah we talk in spanish most of the time
|
Woman. As in, "Woman get in the kitchen and make me sammich!"
|
I have always called my wife "princess" or "pumpkin"
it honestly sounds strange when I call her by her first name. |
I usually call her Baby.

Currently without SO, but in the past:
Baby, honey, sweetie, mi amor, cariņo, dollbaby, babe, mi reina: just the standard stuff. A bit of advice for those times when you really need to use a term of the non-endearing type . . . never, ever, use that four-letter "c" word that rhymes with punt. That's just an evil word. |
I usually call her some random or made up word. There's no method to my madness.
Examples: coast, chocolate, floaks, troyx, pumpy, etc.. Yeah, it makes no sense, but that's me. |
I frequently call my wife "jugs". She doesn't really appreciate it. I went through a stage of calling her CS for cocksucker...she didn't care for that much either.

Man some of these are damn funny.
I have babe, honey, princecess, mi amor, mami (she is spanish). |
I don't have any pet names for my wife... I've just never wanted to call her baby or anything like that as it 1) infantalizes her and 2) is just wierd when you think about it.
I don't know, I guess that just me... She calls me stupidhead or husband... |
"Boo" or "Love" mostly
as in "Why dont you bring me a beer love?" |
I call him honeybunny, baby or babe, and daddy. I started calling him honeybunny when we first met and then found out that his dad's nickname is bunny. Very odd I would pick that, it's not something I had ever called anyone before.
|
Cariad (Car-Yad) or Blodyn (Blo-din)
It's a welsh thing. |
Used to call my ex babe, hun, and pancake.
