Boxers or briefs?
 

OK, this has nothing to do with what men or ladies find hotter. :-)

I've always worn briefs. I experimented with wearing boxers at school and it was not bad, until the moment I walked up to a girl (who was sitting), was able to see down her top, started talking to her and moments later realised that my "pointing device" was pointing at her the whole time :rolleyes: No boxers from then on ;-)

It's a fact that you can't hide a boner with boxers. On the other hand, briefs just look... uncool. So, for the past few years, I've resorted to wearing briefs and on top of that boxers :o, so that my silly briefs' band (you know, the thing the underwears' make is often printed on) won't show in case my jeans are riding lower than they normally do.

Having said that, I'd just want to know: what are the social/scientific/medical {dis}advantages of wearing briefs? What about boxers? Should I give them another chance? :confused: :confused: :confused:

Yea I agree, I wear breifs too. But I find them to be more comfertable and also they keep my junk aligned.

I'm a boxer brief kinda guy myself, boxers are too loose and wedge up my ass all the time, breifs are just like speedos...gay, but boxer briefs are just right

I've tried boxer briefs, not these tight ones that you usually seen on clothing catalogues, but "normal" ones. Can't say many good things about them... They don't really restrict my junk :D and they look baaaaaad too....

I mean, I would prefer to be caught just with boxers by a girl instead of just with briefs :crazy:

But really now, is there any advantage to boxers? Any penis-related advantage? ;)

Yeah, I've been wearing Boxer-breifs since I was like 15. Best of both worlds.

I mostly wear boxers or briefs. Whatevers clean, mostly boxers though.

well, boxers let your balls create more semen as to briefs constrict them more more and lower you sperm and semen count. That said, I either wear boxers or boxer briefs if I am going to do anything like running or weight lifting.

I used to always wear briefs when I didn't go "commando"... But going commando was a bit too much at times, especially at work (for reasons that need not be explained)... However recently I have switched to boxers. It took a few tries to find out what I like the most, and I've found that I like the Hanes 100% cotton boxer...

I think the reason I like them specifically is how they are cut. When I'm sitting they give me enough support and aligment to keep the pants from "splitting the twins" and when I'm walking I feel free as a bird, almost just like commando but with no zipper rubbage...

Thumbs up on the boxers. I say give 'em another chance.

Besides, how often do you really need to hide boners??? :) OK, bad question... :D

About six years ago I switched from briefs to boxers. Best decision I ever made.

LOL, a lot less often nowadays than when I was back in high school :)

But still.... :D

I would like to put in a vote for briefs.

I tried boxers for a while, and still have a pair or two. As a side note I find briefs to be terribly unsexy, but still wear them for confort reasons. I think I must have a much lower threshold for pain than the rest of the boxer wearers, but anytime that I was doing anything physical (running, jumping, even a little during walking) it felt like there was a mosh pit in my pants. With my thighs being the drunken biker guys, and my twig and two berries being the scrawny "How did I end up in here?" guys, there was definitely more smashing, grinding, and pain than I would have ever hoped for. So after a brief (no pun intended) stint with boxers, I came back to that glorious little cotton barrier between my thighs and my unmentionables.

I agree with Cosmo Kramer in favor of briefs: "There's nothing holding me in place. I'm flipping, I'm flopping." And yes, they are your grandfather's undergarments from a fashion perspective, but the operative word is underwear.

I wear either boxers or boxer-briefs depending on the situation. Boxers are more comfortable so I wear them to sleep in and when I'm hanging out at home or with friends. But boxer-briefs look sexy so I wear them when I'm going out or when I'm with a girl :) It really has nothing to do with "support" for me... I'm not jumping up and down so I don't see why I need to hold my balls in place. I have no problem letting them hang low and free :)

I used to wear briefs in high school. They held everything in place so there would be no embarassing moments. But as soon as I came to college i switched to boxers. No real reason why I did, but boxers don't constrict you. I tried silk boxers..got a pair from on old girlfriend. Ripped them the first time I wore them. So just stuck with 100% cotton from then on out. It's more preference than anything.

Boxers all the way, at the request of Mrs. Gar. Something about not having a sweaty dick at the end of the day, and how it just tastes better.

Boxers since I was old enough to make the choice. I dont like my slightly smaller self being restricted. Its not comfortable (For me anyways), its not pleasant at the end of the day, and its not healthy either. Briefs can cause long term damage to your testicles and greatly reduce your sperm count and other problems as well. Not my idea of a good time. But hey, to each their own. I prefer to let my boys swing free, and I dont think that any briefs could conceal my boners.

I wear boxers. Mainly because they're more comfortable (in my opinion), the only downfall is that sometimes I have to "readjust" my boys if they aren't sitting right.

Boxers. More freedom.

Boxers. The wife likes them more than briefs. 'Nuff said.

I wear boxers at work and go commando on my own time...

boxers, its a pain when the get all caught up but this is only some of the time, with briefs its all the time, boxers just way more comfortable. Don't like feeling all 'constricted'.

If I had to choose, I would go with the boxer briefs. Usually I like to go free ball (nothing at all). But when you work out (lift wights etc) you kind of need some support.

I used to wear only boxers since about college. But after getting my abs in better shape, I have switched to mostly boxer briefs. If you have that extra weight along your waistline, they are not very attractive. I like them now.

I prefer boxer briefs. You get the support of briefs and the look of boxers. I used to wear boxers, but I needed something with more support for the big fella...

I'm all about boxers. Though I confess, I'm intrigued by the idea of boxer briefs.

boxers for me. I don't like to be completely contained. And, with it being strapped to by leg, boxers allow for breathing room as briefs would not. ;)

I wear mostly boxers, unless im going to the gym. Briefs just make me feel so constricted. i personally like the flippin and floppin, and pointing at hot chicks.

Intrigued? Interesting view of underwear. But let me clear the waters a bit for you rat, boxer briefs are no mystery, just good fitting, good looking, versatile underwear. Live the dream!

Commando here. I started with briefs and then went to boxers for the freedom. Then when I first started dating my current gf (1yr ago :) ) I felt encouraged to wear nothing at all, as is her preference for herself.

when i was a kid, i used to wear briefs but i needed more freedom when i got older so i went to boxers. I have no problems with them and in the summer it's nice to have a little ventilation going on....lol

I wore briefs until recently and decided to switch to boxers. I think its cooler when you're caught with your pants down. Briefs can be pretty uncomfortable too.. especially when you have tight pants and have just had lunch. I still wear both.. but I noticed that I'd wear boxers if I feel good and if I have important appointments.. and briefs otherwise when all boxers are in the wash.

No problem with hard-ons here. I suppose I havent been caught in a situation where I had a hard-on and I didn't want the girl to know about it. :P

I now wear the boxer/brief combos from Haynes. These are the best things on me since I found lingerie could be removed from a woman.

havent worn anything but boxers since I was about 13. 27 now and ill never change! LOL.

to those who say you cant "hide" anything, you're just not being creative enough!

I rarely wear either of them. To constraining.

You can still do a tuckey thing with the boxers right? I switched from boxers to those sports breifs. I like the way it hugs the package.

Boxer Briefs! Those are my (and my wife's) fave. For many of the reasons listed before.

I have to say that tighty-whiteys are just a bit too old-school for me. Seems more embarrasing to see those than to see someone nude!

i was a brief kid up til highschool i guess it was. didnt wanna be the only kid wearing tighty whitey's in the lockrooms. so i started wearing boxers then.

now for some reason whenever i put on briefs, i get an errection, it will go away shortly but i dont really get it.

boxers are just a lot more comfortable for me. gotta let the boys hang loose. ;)

I used briefs for all my childhod, but now I can't stand them. I use only boxers now.
