Single,Married or Comitted
 

I was noticing that alot of people on TFP are married or are in long term comitted relationships..i'm just wondering how many..and also the current status of relationships..not like oh "i'm going thru a horrible dirvorce" but like in terms of active sex lives and passion..hence why its on the sexuality board :)

I'm single, have no sex life.. or any other type of life.. just your classic loser here

me personally i've been with biznatch for a year on nov 9th..and we can't keep our hands off each other. were thinking about long term comittment (aka future) and it seems shiny and happy :)

I'm in the 3-6 month category. Although we can't quite come together on an actual "when did the relationship start" date...

SIngle again... yeah I know I posted I was getting married a while ago, it disintegrated over the last two weeks. It's one of the main reasons I've been a grouchy asshole lately, hehe.

Loverboy and I have been together for 2 years now and things are going so well both inside the bedroom as well as outside it that it's almost frightening :p

I have been married for 3 years and with her for almost 7 years.

And we are still having a blast.

Been together for 3 years, getting married in May.

Sex is getting better as we go along...I'd imagine we'll peak in about 1 more year.

Just crossed our 10th wedding anniversary last month (whee!) and in a couple of weeks coming is our 17th dating anniversary. We had a child two years ago, so the sex is a bit reduced from pre-pregnancy levels, but it is still generally 1-2 times per week. The love / sensuality / flirting is still where it was, however. I'm very happy.

Single. Casually dating a few girls. Meeting lots of new people. Sex here and there. Enjoying myself right now. It's been a VERY long time since I've been single like this. Taking my time now until I find someone that I REALLY want to be with.

Been with my woman for 3 1/2 years. Not married though, but we plan on it, when we are both financially secure or a bit more better off than what we are now.
The sex had almost diminished until I brought up how it was bothering me. So its been a good 2 weeks. *cues funky porno music*

Just passed anniversary #16 (I think that's the flannel anniversary!?!). It is really a wonderful point in the relationship; as strong and fun now than in years passed. In fact, because we dated for a relatively short time before marriage, just 10 months, the first couple of years were considerably harder than anything since. We went through our challanging phase very early, the majority of relationships have them at some point, and ended up stronger for the experience. I consider myself extremely fortunate.

As far as the "knockin' boots" count, about 3-4 times per week. Have a 20 month old son, but that didn't slow us down any.

Still gettin' more than my single friends, though. Ha ha!

Married, 3 & a half years together, 1 kid. Sex frequency is up and down, we both work full time but different hours and the kid is too young to leave by herself for long. We'd have sex every night if we could though.

I think we're the only married couple that we know, work or friends, that actually likes each other. I just got through listening to 4 of my coworkers complaining about how their wives are all bitches...

3-6 month category here. Only get to see her on weekends and we hump like bunnies. Sometimes literally. We're both very passionate people. I'm sure my neighbors wish we weren't.

Man in the single, still looking, having a lot of fun while trying to find the right one. Have few prospects however nothing seroius. Hey Stone nice to see soemeone else from the Bay always good to see that.

Ahh, the good ol' days. Although, I don't know what is harder - hiding sex from your parents while living with them, or hearing them discuss and make jokes about sex when you get older.

wow impressive (aimed at forehead, clark, red lemon, gar and scrub) i'm a little suprised at just how many more people were in comitted relationships here then single (by the poll). i have to ask of teh people who have been together over 10 years - do you feel your relationships have been so sucessful because you share a common intrest? and for the rest of you long term and happys..how many of you both spend time on the TFP(aka la petite moi and nwlinkvxd? i know having a place to show my interests and thoughts and knowing that biznatch will be checking out what i'm saying has helped me feel more secure and less shy with him. also since this site is obviously very open toward sex i wonder if the people on here are diffent then teh general populace ...at least in terms of being aware of their sexuality maybe aiding in keeping a sex life fresh after years?

Dating but nothing overly serious so I would classify myself as single.

i've been dating the same girl for about 6 months and we're happy and enjoying life.

Been married for alomst 11-1/2 years. We didn't spend alot of time together the first few years. I was in the military and deployed alot. I never thought we could be more in love than when we were first married, but I was wrong. Two kids later and our sex life is still good and hot.

My boyfriend and I are coming up on 3 years in December.

SCrubjay, I could've written this except for the short dating part. My wife is Dutch, and I am Texan. We knew each other for 5 years before we got married, but we lived on different sides of the Atlantic. I saw her three times in three years, and on the third time we got married. We, too, just passed our 16th wedding anniversary. The first years were the hardest. Today, there is no doubt that our relationship is stronger than ever. One thing you didn't mention: sex. Sex with my wife is definately better than ever. We also do it more now than we did in the first ten years of marriage. Like you, I think I'm more blessed than I deserve. I'm just about the happiest person I know. Life is good. :thumbsup:

I am married for 7 years and the feelings and sex have never been better. I got lucky and met the right one the first time. I am lucky at nothing else, so I count my blessing.

Been with my guy for a little over two years. We're getting married in July. Our feelings and the sex are just as great as they were in the beginning.
