I feel that the point of this post is how something like this can alter our perception and self security.

In public yes if you were naked people will see you in a more flacid state, and if your security is based on that image then you want to avoid showing people your flacid state as much as possible.

My suggestion. Just don't pee as often, that will fill you up and get you ready for show as much as you can :)

Big time grower here. Unless I'm loosened up a bit and perhaps drinking, my flaccid penis is 1/5 the size of my erect penis (in length, and I suppose 1/3 the girth).

Only time I really care is when I'm out in the clubs and I get the impression that women are looking for the bulge...

Altough, I also see myself as a grower, I defenitely agree with ratbastid.
For example if I'm going to have sex for the first time with a girl, I'm a bit stressed about my smaller flacid friend . At that moment I would prefer to be a shower. But on the other hand, once he's up and u see the look on her face because it has grown to three times his size, you make them a real happy girl.

Typically, the larger the penis, the more difficult it is to get erect. This doesn't matter in the 20's, but big guys "peter out" qicker over guys with small penises. Doesn't mean they can't get it up, just means it's more difficult. Not so much a problem any more with drugs to help with that.

I can offer anecdotal evidence on the last paragraph. I lived with a black woman for a few years (friends-that-never-took-benefits) and spent a lot of time with her family. Her brothers/cousins were all hung like...well, not to point at Hal(x) or anything, but they were in the big leagues (by their women's admission, and the sister who had seen them). My bat belonged in little league by comparison. Ran in the family (not all blacks have huge penises, contrary to popular belief). But they also talked about what happened as they got older, and I learned.

umm i dont think they meant that there are some ppl that are the same size errect as they are flaccid....but i have seen/heard of some that only grow a little bit...the norm tho as we have noticed here is that u grow several inches if not more.

Best thing if you're a grower (join the club) is to shave your balls and the base of your ladykiller, then you become a shower - you can show at least another inch or so when limp. I think the benefit of being a grower is how much it surprises your girl when its fully cocked, and how proud you are of your big fat erection.

I've gotten the bulge thing before. Probably more than once. I've actually had girls pointing to it when it's in the flaccid state on one occaision. Flaccid and upright, the bulge is about half of a tennis ball give or take the conditions of the weather n what not. Then erect the bulge is a little like a hot dog, bun and all. I think I've caught girls looking at it when it's like that. Embarrisingly so, it's like that a lot of the time and I have to, re-adjust the damn thing. #2, but a non-issue for me. I used to have a GF who wanted to see me in a flaccid state because it was so different from the way she normally saw it. Wasn't too successful since she always made me aroused.

I'm definitely a number 2, and frankly it's not an issue for me. If some random guy in the gym feels better about himself because my penis is smaller than his in a flaccid state, then I'm happy to contribute to his self confidence. It costs me nothing.

Put me down as a number 2 as well. When I was younger I was also always concerned about the size when not erect, but I got over it and I think I'm a better person because of it. In fact my wife really enjoys it, because after she's done performing oral she loves to play with it.... and in the end I'm back and ready to go quicker.

Like everyone else has said, don't worry about, because I' m sure that the majority of woman are more concerned with how you treat them than the size of your flaccid penis.

And I believe I saw something about this on the discovery channel a few years ago, on one of those "all about sex" things. They actually had the percentages in it, but I cant recall exactly what they were, but the percentage of growth was based on the flaccid length. People on the small end of the flacid spectrum had the largest percentage of growth when erect. People at the large end of the flacid specturm had the smallest percentage of growth.
