Ok, to turn this around, how would you apply this to the ladies? If a lady shaves, does that say anything about her? Would it mean she secretly fantasizes about being a young girl and having a older man take advantage of her?

Almost all women I know, and have known, prefer men to be clean shaven on their face. When I shave my face I end up looking like a twelve year old boy... most men look a lot older with facial hair. So a woman who prefers men with no beard, is she secretly harboring these same thoughts that men apparently do? Are they secretly lusting after little boys when they ask their men to shave their face?

I know that ignores the obvious link between pubic hair and sexuality that isn't there with male facial hair, but I think it's an interesting comparison.

Honestly I dunno. I would err on the side of caution and say no but then again I long ago stopped trying to figuring out the deeper inner workings of the female mind. I know what motivates most men...most women...ain't gotta clue.

But do they at the same time want you to dress up in over all shorts, knee socks, and I dunno patent leather shoes(I'm trying to think of a stereotypical little boy outfit)?
Again I don't think the smooth beav exclusively is a questionable desire but the smooth beav mated to a girl that's wearing ponytails, in a school girl uniform and smallish breasts....that to me screams something that the guys should keep tabs on for his own sake.
Besides I think many women who say they like a clean shaven man simply want a guy who is well groomed. No giant Grizzly Adams beard or Fu-manchu mustaches. I've never had a complaint about my stache but when I had a full beard I used to catch crap for it all the time.

Yikes, never meant this to turn into a "guys who like it bald are pedophilles" thread. It's just that, to me, it makes them look too young.

Since I'd have to say it's a womans perogative to keep it shaved if she wants... I guess I just fall into the camp of preferring a bit of hair-down-there. (Not talking about liking a "fur diaper" now, just a bit to dress it up ;))

I think its the only way to go honestly. Both me and my girlfriend shave and its great. Much more comfortable, Does get a little itchy when it grows back and ingrown hairs are a bitch sometimes but I would say its worth it.

I swim alot, and there is nothing more disgusting than to see pubic hair hanging out the sides of a chick's bikini. YUCK. I do not mind trimmed, managable hair at all though.

Generally it is whatever you have grown up with (by grown up I mean sexual maturity). If you grew up especially in the 70s or earlier then pubic hair was the norm. However anyone who is under 30 now generally sees shaving as the norm. Personally if a girl doesn't trim it down to a landing strip or shave it off completely then I will be turned off. I shave myself and I EXPECT the girl to do the same.

oh and I never get ingrown hairs/itchiness anymore, as I've perfected my shaving method since shaving for the last 3 months or so.

I'm really indifferent. The woman I'm currently with keeps it shaved, and I enjoy it. Either way works for me.

I just hate when it gets in your teeth. I have to stop what I'm doing and try to get it out.

I think that shaved in the business area and a trimmed landing area is the way to go. I think it looks better, and I dont like hair in my mouth. I guess I wouldnt really care if I wasnt going down on her, but I think too much hair there is unattractive.

I must surely be outside the norm... I just turned 31 and if it's not shaven I'll likely hand you a razor. I can deal with a landing strip, but the outer labia must be clean. Now, I might not kick her out of bed, but oral would be out of the question. The way I see it, there is probably a relation to being exposed to pornagraphy very young. Of course, maybe it's just the freak in me... I just love everything female, I love the way it looks. Perhaps over time we need to *see* MORE to excite us, particularly guys as we are very visually stimulated. I don't fine hair sexy. I'd rather see it, up close and personal... Go down and stay down. There's just nothing better.

I wouldn't expect that anyone enjoys licking hair and this is why I followed suit. I mean, fair is fair, right? Besides, without as much hair, it looks bigger ;) I can say that I've gotten a lot more attention down there since I started, I'd suggest all guys give it a shot.

If I ever found a landing strip or a desert, I'd probably suddenly remember an urgent appointment I had somewhere else...

Yeah, quite a suprise. I think I'd have to say that I have no preference. There's something quite sexual about it both ways. I guess "au natural" is only good if you don't grow like a rainforest, though. A nice change-up is always welcome though! :)

When it was a trend that was just starting, totally shaved was hot. Now, I gotta admit, I get turned on by some fuzz down there. Not full blown amazon of course, but a landing strip or trimmed triangle is what I find to be a bigger turn on than bald now.

My wife doesn't like to shave--says it makes her look like a child and it itches when it starts growing back. I have no interest in a child-like mound, I just hate parting all the hair when going down. Occaisionally I can get her to cut it very short, which is almost as good.

1. Hair is nasty and gets in the way. You could be the hottest girl on the planet, but if I reach in your pants and find a murky jungle, I'll get turned off immediately. It's nasty.. ok, I take that back. Fingers/sex is fine, but don't expect me to go down there and do anything else.

2. What the hell is up with the, "ew, it looks like a child/10 year old/little girl"?? Focus, people, it's a shaved body part and nothing more. For women, the less down there the better for me. I usually keep myself completely shaven, but do the landing strip thing on occasion if thats what the guy wants or if thats what I'm in the mood for. I feel sexier shaven and its that much more sensative for me. I like guys to be trimmed. It makes it look sexier and looks BIGGER! :) Shaved balls are nice too!

I think everyone is too consumed with shaving. I'm new to Southern California and one of the first things I noticed when I went to the beach is how no one has any bodyhair. When did bodyhair become wrong? What happened to the Tom Selleck days :-)

It's kinda wierd, and I'm not sure I understand it, but IMO girls shaving is good, at least trimmed, but guys shaving is wierd, I don't really have a problem with trimming, but something about a guy getting waxed screams wrong to me.

You've never seen a guy that if he shaves he looks 10 years younger than he would with a little facial hair? If I shave my face I go from looking like a 26 year old to a 15 year old. And sorry but a bald cooter screams "MINOR" to me. As I got older I got used to seeing that area of a woman with at least SOME hair there. My first..barely had any hair on the field so to speak and when I see a bald one that's what I think of and I'd prefer not to think of a teenager when I'm doing that.

Hmmmm, if I shave off all my facial hair, I go from looking 17 to looking about 14.... and I'm 26. lol Thats my reason for not shaving my face. Somehow I really don't think a woman shaving makes that much of a difference in how old she looks.

I'm a man of the 60's when sexuality, as we know it, was just beginning and to see pubic hair was the most sexy thing around. Most pictures I saw in those early days had the pubes air-brushed out, so to see one with it all in place had a really strong effect on me. So I've liked it that way ever since. I bald muff does nothing for me but a really hairy one makes me go weak at the knees.

Hair is bad. My wife used to get the dreaded yeast infection thing but since talking her into shaving she has never gotten one again. We trim, shave bald and shape what is left depending on the mood at the time. Sex after shaving is awesome!!

Just a small point from a noob, but my wife of 10 years has shaved off and on since high school. She didn't do it to look like a porn star, and she didn't do it for a man. She says it's just more comfortable; cleaner, cooler, nicer "for her" not once has she ever thought is a sexual thing.
