Pimple on penis?
 

Im kind of embarressed to talk about this, but I dont know where else to go without showing someone...
I have a little red bubble on the bottom of my penis, right where it meets the sack.
It looks like it could be a pimple, but I kind of think otherwise.
Does anyone have any experience with this, or any suggestions on what it might be.
I highly doubt it is an STD.

Do you shave? If so, a hair that gets stuck growing under the skin, or an ingrown hair, will form a pimple like bubble just like what you said. Just pop it, and see if there's a hair in there you can pull out with some tweezers.

the first thing that came to mind was an ingrown hair. but it could be something as simple as a pimple. doesnt sound serious to me.

yeah I used to shave, and am now in the process of letting it grow back. Hey Im lazy and no one see's it :(

Yep, ingrown hair. Painful to get rid of, but a whole lot more comfortable when it's gone.

I agree.. in grown hair. Sore as hell for a while but goes away..

Had it before, went to the doc. Not an issue to worry about. If you are concerned that it could be an STD, perhaps you should also be concerned about the methods of STD prevention you use. hm.

If it lasts more that a few days I would go to the doctor. It could be an infection that requires treatment. I had something like this once. It scared me. I went to the doctor. It was a staf infection. He gave me anitbiotics. It got better.

It could be nothing or it could be something that needs a Doctor to look at it. Don't resist going to a doctor if you need to. That is what they are for.

yeah man, check for a hair when you do pop it, just to be sure. I get them whenever I shave. It sucks.

I saw an article about these burrowing worms that like to dig in that area, some get to be up to 8 inches long.

Of course if you have any doubt that it's an ingrown hair I suggest you Don't pop or it if you have - wash thoroughly with an antibacterial soap. If it was an STD the fluids in the pimple would spread it to other areas down that.

Could be an ingrown hair, but some people also get something like very mild acne on their penis (nowhere near as severe as facial acne, and clears up around the same time). That can lead to occasional large red spots, especially if personal hygiene is bad.

it could have been ether a ingrown hair or a pimple
if u had more than it would have been maybe sebaceous prominace (hygene) or a male yeast infection

had a huge huge bump on the same spot before and i worried like hell over it. it ended up just being a huge pimple and i popped it.

if you want a scarier story then the worm:
there is this tiny fish that swims up the urethra of the penis and lets out its spikes inside. i think currently theyre only found in the amazon but still scary thought if they were to be brought elsewhere or if you happened to be in the amazon. dont pee while youre in the water, theyre attracted to the warmth!
