A summer night serenade?
 

Ladies, what's your opinion on having a song played to you. I play the guitar and I can manage singing without killing someone, and was wondering if playing a nice song to a girl would freak her out or make her knees weak.

also, any song suggestions would be cool. :p

I'd be impressed :D And also embarassed, but that's just my messed up issues speaking out.

Anything Dashboard would work for me ;) But that's cause I'm a freak about that band.

It would be too akward and embarassing for me. Then again, I am not one for being the center of attention anyhow.

Not being a lady, the only bit of advice I could give yould be: Do it somewhere secluded, that might make it less embarrasing. Oh, and mabye try to cut the total length down a bit, so it doesn't seem to last an eternity.

i have always secretly wanted a guy to serenade me. anything he picked is fine...seriously any song would do. but yeah i love dashboard confessional and duncan sheik, the cure, anything sappy or hopelessly romantic. :)
"hands down" might hafta be my fav sappy love song type of serenade song. hehe.

Being a musical person, I know that I think of certain people when I play some of my songs, and it shows.

As far as someone playing something for me, I think if it was done truly to express something to me and not to show off to other people ( ie we're alone) I'd really be touched in that the spent the time to prepare something in hopes of sharing it with me. It takes time to perfect music, so especially if they played something I liked, even if secretly I think I hear dogs howling, I'd melt :)

It would be so romantic. Although I'd be a bit embarrassed in front of a group of people. I think it would have more of an impact if it was just the two people..no observers. Even if his voice wasn't great it would still be so sweet.
