Long Distance over!
Hello! Just thought that as my long distance relationship started five months ago and I posted on here for advice on what to do that I'd let eveyone know that it is now over... AND we are still together through it all!
My gf arrived back home yesterday and at first (for the car ride) it was possibly the MOST awkward drive of my life, but in the afternoon after i left for a couple hours it sorted itself all out. WE''re now off to Canada from the UK to meet my family and friends and travel as of monday (As was booked with a HOPE/TUST) that things would work out...)! Just thought i'd try and post an encouraging post, and to let ppl know that these relationships can work out. Just as many people told me when i was asking on here! Now back to taking everything day by day...and trying to adjust to the return of someone 'there' with me But as it was posted by someone to me on here... "Absence is to love what wind is to fire; it extinguishes the small, it enkindles the great." ~Comte DeBussy-Rabutin Cheers everyone and good luck! |

Congrats on everything working out!
Coincedentally (spelling?) the Long Distance in my relationship has recently ended as well. She's back home for good now after 4 years of Med school away, and our wedding is coming up in a couple weeks. Good times.

Cool
I like how you said that you've had weird moments since she's returned. Thats to be expected. Just talk it out and get to know eachother again.
