How effective is it to call up an acquantince that you know (i.e. know them from high school, but haven't hooked up before) that lives in the neighborhood and telling them, "Hey, I'm really horny, you wanna come over and hook up?"

I started to say that I had done this, but I hadn't. I just became fuckbuddies with an ex of mine for awhile after we split. I'm sure that's a fairly common occurence. I've had girls to agree to hook up before that I were common acquaintances, but not much, and each time, something has come up on my part. But I don't think it would be as hard as you think. But my small town is totally fucked, everything is different here. So maybe its just easy here because thats how the girls are. Basically, man, I dunno.

My high school is really small, and we're all graduating soon, and I really, really, really want to have a summer fling with this girl...so I think I'm gunna try to hook up with her at a party or something, or ask her out within the next couple of weeks.

No girl in highschool would have ever even looked at me that way..... I doubt any of them would hook up with me to this day if I was single.

instead of saying your horny.....just call her and ask her out to a party you're both going to or something....try walking her home....ask her for coffee....you have soooo many angles here. Or if she leaves wasted.....try and get a ride or offer one in the same vehicle and work your magic from there. If she's at all into you the inhibition of booze will make it apparent. (don't friggin try and rape her or something though....just cause she is drunk!)

She has shown tons of interest in me. I hardly ever initiate conversation with her, but she always invites me to events she's going to as well. Such as a party, she said I better be there, etc.

And after one party she gave me a ride home because I couldn't drive, but nothing happened there because my parents were home and she had a friend coming over.

I did this to a girl at work who used to flirt with me a little.
